NSMB and SMG series beat it to the ground, and SM3DLand looks so bland. At least Super Mario 64 distinguished itself some, and Super Mario Sunshine did as well. Now, Nintendo is just so damn conservative with Mario...the aesthetics were fun at first, but it needs some diversion. Now it's the same old same old. I blame you people. Toss Super Mario Sunshine to the side like common trash, yet worship rehashed s*** like NSMB Wii and SMG2. smh

Mario Galaxy 1 is fine, nothing wrong with it (aside from being absolutely linear, but it did have a soul at least). But SMG2 was just a cheap whore begging for a nickel.

SMG2 is just a cheap assembly line production made of stuff that wasn't even good enough to be in the first game. The environments are incredibly flat and boring, Yoshi feels more of an annoyance than a fun power-up, and that fat tubba lard Lubba is always b****ing about batteries and for me to put the game down after playing like, three missions. I'm sorry, I'm not a f***ing kid. You don't need to hold my hand, you stupid fatass star. And Green Star missions? LOL! Who thought that would be fun, exploring all the same areas that are incredibly 1-dimensional? Where is the soul in this game? Give me Super Mario 64. Give me Super Mario Sunshine. Give me games that are actually fun to gamers, and not some crap that has to be "APPEALING TO EVERY1 LOL!!"
And by everyone, I mean casuals and infants.

1) Blue coins 2) Super Mario 64 moved more effectively and acrobatically; the FLUDD just seems to be a drawback 3) Unmemorable levels and challenges
Otherwise, pretty decent game. Some things were definitely better than others, but it wasn't crazy amounts of fun (at least at the very beginning and hunting down every blue coin for the last few stars; middle's pretty good)
I don't know if I'd call Sunshine's challenges unmemorable. I do think they're a tad repetitive though. Fighting the same boss at least twice in each world (Heck, you fight that Glooper Blooper thing like four times) and two sets of Red Coin Shines per world, it's just...It feels lazy.
Needed more FLUDD-less levels, too. Easily the best part of the game (and at the same time, the FLUDD-less level with the Chuckster Piantas is the worst section in ANY Mario game).
