Not a great game by any means but it is really not that bad. I played a lot of the multiplayer back in the day as well and it was quite fun. The slow pace of the game hurt it but otherwise it was a solid shooter with a mediocre story. Obviously, it gets downvoted further because it was meant to follow up one of the greatest console shooters of all time but it really isn't that bad of a game. On the other hand, the achievements in the game want to make me kill myself
