These "king" based kanji are pretty easy to remember for some reason. One of the few groups where I got "good" for most of them rather than "hard" after the first day. Which is nice because I'm having some trouble with the "opium" ones and some other ones recently.

Yikes this is the last time I don't clear out the whole queue for three days (I didn't clean it out yesterday because I had over 200 and I was like "just doing some will be fine I'll do the rest tomorrow") but now I have 300 reviews due, so gross. Here goes a few hours.

Well no it's 300 in one day cause I'm doing them in one day. Sure the average is 100 per day there which is totally reasonable (more like 120 or so considering I did some) but yeah.
But believe you me I intend to complain if and when it starts hitting 500.

Actually I'd be lying if I said I wasn't intentionally throttling back on the cards a bit just because I'm having a bit too many that aren't advancing at the moment. I might go back to 10 a day for a bit-- probably better for learning than doing the cards every other day with 20.

Yeah, it's best to do a little per day and keep your motivation up rather than try and live up to some motivation draining imaginary standard that doesn't mean anything anyway.

My accuracy went down because I decided to "again" every card that I didn't get any part of (the kunyomi in pretty much every case) instead of just "hard"ing them. Trying to clean out the ones that I'm perpetually failing to get the kunyomi on. Gonna do this for a couple of weeks I think so I can get them all (some of the repetitive "hard"s got up to like 2 weeks)

Oh and case anyone's curious-- my strategy has been:
Miss more than one part of Kunyomi/Onyomi/How It Looks = Again Miss one of the three parts (This is Kunyomi 95% of the time) = Hard Get all of that = Good Know everything on the card (all the compound words included) = Easy
I'm not sure if that's the right way to be doing it. If someone has a suggestion for a better method I'm all ears. Should I just be "again"ing things repeatedly until I get all the three main parts?

I'm surprised my average interval still managed to go up considering I "again"d like 20 cards today. Wonder how far my young will tank as I continue to do this.
