I wish there was more info on Persona 5, but it's nice to know the basic concepts are there. If I had to guess it'll probably get first real footage at TGS 2012.

It's too bad the Persona fighting game won't have Persona 3 or 2 characters but oh well
The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena has a new story that takes place two yeas after the events of Persona 4. Characters from Persona 4 and Persona 3 will feature in the game.

Aigis is a confirmed character. It WILL have P3 dudes.

Rise probably has low odds of being playable along with Fuuka. They'll probably end up as announcers or support/assist if the game uses support/assist type stuff.
The more I think about it, the more this fighting game sounds like it could be the best thing ever. Back to the remake, I seriously wish it wasn't on Vita, but whatever. I guess now I have to wait and see if Vita turns out to be anything spectacular, as it is now P4P's the only thing it has going for it IMO. I'd love for Vita to be good though, because then I could buy it and not feel bad about getting it for a single game. P4 is my favorite RPG ever, and probably in my top 3 games ever, but even then I can't justify buying a handheld just for that. (I held out on buying a PS3 for forever even though MGS3 is my favorite game of all time)
That's an interesting conclusion to come to. Were you aware that there are these guys called Social Links? They're a bit important.

From: ZFS | #083 Vita has a good number of interesting games already, I think. P4 just adding onto the pile!
Would you mind listing a few of the better ones? Not trying to be an ass or anything, I'm probably just legitimately not informed, the only titles to come to my mind when I think "Vita" are UC and a few other console ports that don't really grab my attention.
Some of the ones I'm interested in -- Uncharted, Sound Shapes, Project Gravity, Dragon's Crown, Dynasty Warriors, Wipeout 2048, Little Deviants. I suppose there aren't many system sellers, outside of Uncharted, but I think it has a good launch lineup compared to most other platforms, especially the 3DS for a more recent one. I've always thought it would be the go to for good Japanese games, so you might want to wait for TGS to see if anything gets announced you might be interested in. I'm pretty sure Famitsu is going to be revealing a new Vita game every week leading up to TGS -- P4V was the first of four.
I'm disappointed P4P is on the Vita, since I have no plans of getting one. The fighting game sounds pretty awesome though, I'll definitely be keeping an eye on that.
okay time to bring my excitement down to reasonable levels for the fighting game
I wasn't expecting the game to have a ton of characters but it still stings to see such a small character select screen. The possibilities are endless for social link joke characters
