I decided to go back and replay it. Most nostalgic temple...boss comes out of painting, random well in an open courtyard, twisting corridors, finally get to use the hookshot, and scary music. Time for Phantom Ganon. Wonder how he looks in 3D.

But Twinrova is the best boss in OoT.

Oh you silly people. The nostalgia of seeing a tiny dot in a painting and being unsure whether it is growing bigger and coming at you is clearly the best thing ever.

Dodongo was not a good boss. The Jabu Jabu boss was so-so. The bosses really pick up when you're an adult.

Phantom Ganon is a good boss in comparison to the bosses in this game. Obviously these bosses are not nearly as epic as the TP bosses...but they are decent.

I actually like King Dodongo for some reason. I know you an kill him in 15 seconds without any hassle, but he is only the second boss in the game, and he's at least got more of an atmosphere than Gohma imo. I mean, Gohma has the I'mma giant spider in a shroud of mist creepy atmosphere, woo, but King Dodongo has the I'm a mother f***in' huge dinosaur that breathes fire and walks around a pool of lava and I'll roll the f*** over you if you tempt me. And I just love throwing bombs in his gaping mouth, don't know why.

Barinade is boring. Like seriously, what the god damn hell is it? It has nothing going for it except that you can't beat it extremely fast and there's no real EASY easy way to do it, he's just annoying and not fun to fight in the slightest.

Phantom Ganon is actually fun to fight, his painting phase isn't a big deal once you can tell the difference between the real and the fake Phantom.

I've always been a fan of Volvagia because I love dragons.

lol Morpha, literally takes 20 seconds to defeat if you know the trick to do so. You stand in the corner and he can't reach you, hook the core in, strafe around it and trap in the corner and slash the crap out of it, it won't be able to escape.

Bongo Bongo UGH, this dude gave me NIGHTMARES when I was a kid, as did the whole Shadow Temple. I still don't like that place. I still don't like Bongo Bongo. I acknowledge that he's a somewhat cool boss though.

Twinrova f*** yeah. Only time you really get to use the Mirror Shield and it's awesome.

Ganondorf is just Phantom Ganon but somehow less difficult, severely disappointing. And I have nothing good to say about Ganon, he's very boring to fight, because even if you want to use Light Arrows to blind him, it'll just get tedious having him break the pillars to get you more magic, so it's just easier to roll under his legs and slash his tail repeatedly until you get the Master Sword back and then do the same freaking process all over again, boring.

tl;dr: Twinrova > Volvagia > Phantom Ganon > Bongo Bongo > King Dodongo > Gandondorf > Morpha > Ganon > Gohma > Barinade. I think that's my final ranking.

Ganon is best, followed by Twinrova and Phantom Ganon. Of course, the Iron Knuckles and Dark Link are better than any of them, soooo....

Every boss in the game is hella easy.

Barinade or Bongo Bongo probably the hardest after all.

Morphaz is awful. Not fun to face whatsoever; awful and takes forever to defeat (though is unlikely to kill you). That is, unless you do the trick then he's just simple as hell.

Every boss is unlikely to kill you. Morpha doesn't take forever to defeat either, Volvagia probably takes the longest because of those stupid avalanche sections of his where you have to climb down to the side and wait for him to be done. Morpha for real takes 20 seconds, as I said before.

Climb down to the side? wtf are you talking about.

Just run away from the shadows.

You can climb down on the side of the platform and just wait there for the falling rocks to stop. You don't have to run, it's a lot easier. Not that it's difficult in the first place, but it's either running away from rocks or safely waiting in one place for it to be done. Choice is obvious for me.
