I can't even really play these games without doing a diary anymore. It's fun to have a bit of reader interaction, and it forces me to at least TRY to come up with some sort of storyline.

Pre-show: Bubba Ray and Diamond argue over who should be in KotR like anybody cares (58); AAE thinks Speed Muscle is awesome and Yoshino can take anybody even though his opponent tonight is said to be one of a kind... (46); Bobo/Kazarian d. Samoans (55)
-Finlay and the Following are out to start the show. Finlay's carrying the NLW Title and has Stacy on his arm, which he proceeds to explain. Slater named him The Great Disciple, which means he inherits Slater's title, his minions, and his woman while his lord is out subjugating the world. He instructs the faithful to hold fast to Slater in his absence. Styles comes out and is about sick of all this nonsense. He doesn't know why Slater's gone, but this Following crap had better follow suit. Rating: 74
-Finlay accuses Styles of just wanting his title, to which Styles responds that it's HIS title anyway since he's #1 Contender and the champ is gone. They continue arguing until Nixon comes out. He announces that the title can't just be passed around like a white elephant gift. Finlay can carry it around if he wants, but the title is currently vacant...until Finlay and Styles face off at King of the Ring! Rating: 81
-Match: Abyss and J. Barr v. Cody and A. Barr Cody really doesn't care to work as a team with Art, and as a result Art gets owned by the faces for the loss. Rating: 66
-Match: Hart Dynasty v. MNM Just a quick win for MNM to pick up some momentum. Rating: 70
-Art confronts Guerrero backstage. Apparently the opener was supposed to have both Gringos in action, but Eddie backed out to take another match. Art's upset that Eddie isn't helping out with the whole Jesse Barr thing, but Eddie has bigger fish to fry. He's going to win KotR and then the title, and he's going to start by taking out Santana after his big win last week! Rating: 61
-Cruiserweight Title: Yoshino (c) v. ??? Yoshino apparently defends against a mystery opponent tonight, and hits the ring first, Estrada and Doi in tow. The lights dim, and the music comes up.....
RIP VAN DANG
THE WHOLE DOGGONE SHOW
Yes, boys and girls, it's Jay Swick as RVD's equivalent of Gillberg. He actually gives Yoshino a run for his money with some crappy attempts at RVD's eclectic offense, but is too baked to hit the 5-Star Frog Splash, instead eating knees for the loss. Rating: 49 Van Dang's Addict gimmick gets an initial 63 oh he's too heavy to count as a Cruiser that's a bit of a bummer
-A training montage airs, showing Eddie Edwards training and not giving a **** about anything. He's so focused and cool and stuff. Rating: 82 o__O Edwards' Ice Man gimmick gets an initial 68
-Match: Santana v. Guerrero Guerrero cruises by without any storyline-related ramifications, and delivers on his big win over the previously victorious Santana. Rating: 76
-Match: Styles and Golden Dragons v. The Following Despite Finlay's confidence, the Following is clearly in shambles without its glorious leader. Much like my fed, actually. Finlay and the MVC just can't quite get it together all match, and take the loss even with Stacy being all seductress-y and such. Rating: 81
-Finlay cuts a brief promo to inform Styles that this isn't over and the Following are not through. He has a plan, and exhorts his underlings to have faith! Rating: 67
Post-show: Show d. Haku (40); MNM fail a runin on Show (59)

Nothing like IMPACT after a long day at work....to make the day longer.
Pre-show: Cody hypes his match tonight with Show (74); Yoshino retained over Tajiri by getting DQ'd (63); Eddie deigns to help out Art in the tag match tonight (65)
-The show opens with Finlay standing in the garage on the phone. He seems pretty excited and confides that this will be just what's needed to keep the Following on point. A limo pulls up, apparently containing the guy on the other end of the line, and Finlay is thrilled to see them get out... Rating: 75
-Match: Show v. Cody Cody gets a huge win by exploiting his technical advantages. That said I am pretty sure he doesn't hit a Bridging German Suplex for the win here like the in-game report says. Rating: 76
-Bobo cuts a promo backstage about how he's hoping to win KotR. He goes on for a while before Haku cuts him off and claims HE'S gonna win because he's the toughest SoB in the business. They decide to settle that right here, and brawl for a bit before we cut back to the ring. Rating: 67
-Tag Titles: Golden Dragons (c) v. Miracle Violence Connection MVC are in rare and devastating form tonight, but the Dragons just won't quit. Williams eventually gets the challengers DQ'd when he starts choking TAKA out of frustration! Rating: 80
-MVC stalk around the ring, looking to vent on the hapless tag cham- WE WALK ALONE. THROUGH THE UNKNOWN. WE LIVE TO WIN ANOTHER VICTORY. Out comes Finlay? as a voice proclaims that match disappointing. Finlay applauds as JUSTIN GABRIEL comes out to berate the wasted potential of a DQ loss from the dominating bruisers. Finlay grabs the mic to inform us that the Following needed a shot in the arm after the departure of their savior, so he brought in Slater's good friend Justin Gabriel to help them out! Gabriel is a devout Slaterist who is happy to help the cause. There's lots of potential in the stable, but it's going to waste. Gabriel's going to fix that. Rating: 66
-US Title: Matthews (c) v. Rip Van Dang Once again, Van Dang puts in a surprisingly solid performance while mocking the Boko champ to the best of his ability, but Morrison distracts him with "brownies," causing the loss. Rating: 66
-Another Edwards training montage airs, focusing on his Spartan daily routine. Rating: 79
-Match: Abyss and Jesse v. Gringos Art is still a bit hung up about fighting his brother, and it's clear that Eddie isn't really into the match anyway. He bails as Abyss gets the hot tag, leaving Art behind to take the fall. Rating: 70
-Match: Styles and Santana v. Finlay and Gabriel Gabriel makes his in-ring debut with a splash, leading his side to a commanding victory. Rating: 77
-Gabriel and Finlay signal to the back, and MVC come out to join in the fun. Styles tries to intercept MVC, but just gets mowed down. The Following and Gabriel surround Santana in the ring, and hit a brutal finisher train on him. The show ends with Santana laid out across the announce table, which Gabriel puts him through with a 450. Rating: 61
Post-show: Following are going to regroup and rise to new heights! (74); AMW d. Samoans, Diamond/Cor Von (46)

-MNM are out to kill the crowd before the show even starts. They hype up Matthews and how unstoppable he's been as US Champ. He's fighting some jobber again tonight. Rating: 58
-US Title: Matthews (c) v. ??? Hello, Ladies! Val Venis gyrates on out to the ring, puts the smackdown on Matthews, and wins the US title in his debut match! Rating: 70
-The Gringos argue on out to the ring, where Guerrero tells Art to just shut up about Jesse already, and let him do his thing. He's about to win KotR and then the title, and THEN he can worry about the pest problem. See, look, he's got it under control! Rating: 56
-Match: Kazarian v. Guerrero Squashing Kaz apparently means everything is under control. Rating: 73
-Match: Abyss/Bobo v. Cody/Haku Just a brawl. The faces are a bit tougher today. Rating: 73
-Post-match degenerates into a four-way brawl go order KotR okay Rating: 79
-Another inexplicably well-received Edwards training montage airs. Rating: 80
-Match: Edwards v. Morrison Edwards returns to in-ring action, dragging his new non-emotional gimmick with him. It appears to have helped him out, as he kinda rolls Morrison. Rating: 78
-Styles wants to know what the hell Gabriel is doing here, and why the Following hospitalized Santana last week! Gabriel comes out and explains that he is here to lend a hand in service of Slater in the Following's darkest hour. The attack on Santana was to establish that the Following is still a threat to the forces of light in NLW, and to prepare Styles for what faces him this Sunday when he gets in their way. Rating: 64
-Match: Styles/Show/Dragons v. Finlay/Gabriel/MVC Whatever Gabriel's doing seems to be working, as the Following is able to land another big win in the main event. Rating: 76
Post-show: Finlay/Stacy live makeout celebration (60); AMW d. Samoans (50)

if my internet worked we could've done HOT PREDIX for KING OF THE RING except nobody would've cared
-Pre-show: Kazarian d. Bubba Ray (67); AMW d. Gabriel/Cor Von (68, poor psychology)
-Round 1: Colt v. Cody Colt's first match in quite some time is....not very successful. Cody's bringing his A-game today and manages to bring down the former champ. Rating: 80
-Round 1: Bobo v. Haku Haku is the one with enough fight in him to survive the bowling shoe ugly brawl. Rating: 72
-Simon Diamond wants us all to know he's being held down, but that changes today when he wins KotR! Rating: 55
-Round 1: Show v. Diamond Nope. Rating: 57
-A pissed off Matthews charges to the ring and demands a rematch with Venis, who just got lucky on Impact! Matthews WILL get his title back from that clown! Rating: 69
-US Title: Venis (c) v. Matthews Or maybe he won't. Rating: 80
-Round 1: Tajiri v. Guerrero Tajiri comes a bit closer than one would expect, but nope. Rating: 79
-Round 1: Edwards v. Morrison Edwards shows us that Impact wasn't a fluke, rolling over Morrison just as easily with something on the line. Rating: 68
-Round 1: Abyss v. Martel The unavailable-on-Tuesdays Martel struggles to get anything at all going against the monster Abyss, and gets laid out in short order. Rating: 80
-Gabriel is backstage, riling up the Following and MVC in particular. He wants the tag belts and the NLW title in the stable tonight! Rating: 65
-Tag Titles: Golden Dragons (c) v. Miracle Violence Connection MVC seem more focused tonight, driven by more than just bloodlust. That focus gives them the edge they need to take down the puro masters. Rating: 76
-Round 2: Show v. Haku v. Cody Both Show and Haku really like to brawl, so COdy is frequently able to hang back and let them wear each other out. He's eventually able to leverage this into a pin on Show! Rating: 67
-Round 2: Abyss v. Edwards v. Guerrero Abyss' power, Edwards' focused skill, and Guerrero's wiles all clash in the ring, with nobody getting a big advantage for very long. Guerrero stands tall in the ring, having cut short an Edwards rally via low blow, when Jesse Barr comes running out! Guerrero faces off with him as Art Barr comes out for backup.....and whacks Eddie! The Barrs unite in a quick beatdown in this no-DQ triple threat, leaving Guerrero open...Black Hole Slam! 1...2......3! Rating: 83 Art's turn went badly
-The Barrs taunt the downed Eddie, telling him that he sucks as a friend and partner, and Art finally realized that. He's had this coming for a long time! Rating: 51
-CW Title: Yoshino (c) v. Omega Man, my math was WAY off I guess- we have lots of time to fill even given the extended tournament format. Yoshino does what he can to that end, retaining via Doi and AAE interference. Rating: 67 Great chem

##NL BlAcK TuRtLe would if he played mafia probably
-Finlay's out to celebrate his upcoming title win. It's the dawn of a new era for the Following! He told them to have faith, and look where they are now! Rating: 72
-NLW Title: Styles v. Finlay A nice, long match from two NLW staples. Gabriel's on hand, and provides constant assists until Styles gives him a plancha. He almost pays the price for the distraction, but ducks a swing from Finlay and hits the Pele Kick! Styles struggles to his feet...and hits the Styles Clash! 1.....2........3! He's done it! Rating: 82
-Finlay is distraught in the ring after Styles leaves with the title. Gabriel helps him up...and slaps him, saying that he's a disgrace to Slater! Gabriel gives up on this poor excuse for a stable and storms off, leaving Finlay and Stacy alone in the ring. Rating: 69
-Cody cuts a long promo on his heritage and skills, going over in detail why he deserves to win KotR. Abyss comes out, grabs a mic, thinks about it, and simply roars at him. Rating: 82
-KotR Finals: Abyss v. Cody Both Abyss and Cody show some impressive stamina, neither gassing in this 20-minute showdown. Cody's able to wriggle out of all sorts of predicaments, and eventually weasels his way into a victory! Rating: 80 Poor psychology KNEW I should have scripted ugh

Join UCA, acquire popularity and you don't even have to job to BlAcK TuRtLe because he isn't in UCA
just one of those breaks where I screw around with other mods for a bit
currently I'm working on a new challenge come up with on the GDS forums- basically you start with a crappy avatar booking a 0/0/0/$1000 fed and try to work your way up the ranks until your avatar can get an A match in a PPV ME
I managed to keep my fed out of the red but I'll probably be back to FWA as soon as I remember that I am horrible at training people in this game
--
~Tommeri Uranius Bombaldi the Fourth, esq. (aka not Krakenprophet)
updates should resume soon I'm getting the itch back
also I thought of a good deadline for this game: whenever I get Comic Book Hero. I don't think Ryland's given a date for it yet, but the developer's journal has switched to 3 posts a week which is a good sign...that said, I'm pretty broke and don't know when I'll have the money or internet to obtain it. Should make a decent cutoff point in the near but not immediate future though, and once I get CBH it's going to suck up all of my spreadsheet game fervor anyway.
Probably doing a Sheamus diary. If that ends I'll probably go back to TEW or find some way to make CBH more FWA-ish and interactive.

Pre-show: AAE keeps trying to put over Speed Muscle (63); Harts d. Speed Muscle (51); Guerrero promos on the Barrs (61)
-Finlay comes to the ring with the Following. Last Sunday was a setback, but they'll regroup and rebuild! Heck, MVC have the tag straps! About that...MVC are really unimpressed with Finlay's leadership. They have the tag belts, and Slater's not even here anymore. They're out. BTW, for those of you wanting to bone up on your TEW skills, Eidenhoek has an excellent LP for that exact purpose over at GDS. It's a silly read and even I have learned a couple tricks from it. http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=466273
but those tricks won't actually make IMPACT good
Pre-show: Finlay begs Slater and Gabriel and MVC to come back (78); Kazarian d. Diamond (46); Cody is going to beat Styles (73)
-Match: J. Barr v. Guerrero Guerrero is finally taking this angle seriously, and beats down Jesse in short order. Rating: 74

-Cody and Matthews are backstage to hype the main event. Cody is unhappy that he is STILL not getting respect despite his KotR win and #1 Contendership, but that changes tonight. Matthews is livid that Morrison is gone, and places the blame squarely on Venis. He will punish him tonight, and then take the title back when he takes his vengeance at whatever the heck next PPV is. Rating: 61
-Match: Golden Dragons v. Speed Muscle Speed Muscle is able to hang this time, and starts threatening to win via AAE shenanigans until Hart Dynasty come run him off! Dragons pick up the win from there. Rating: 69
-Finlay instructs MVC to watch and see tonight, and they'll see what a mistake they made leaving the Following! They'll beg to be let back in, and he'll consider it. Rating: 75
-Non-title: Abyss/Edwards v. Finlay/Haku v. MVC Finlay does indeed look pretty dangerous here, but so does everybody else in this match, and he actually winds up taking the fall for Abyss. Rating: 82
-Abyss signals at Finlay, but something inside Finlay seems to snap. He screams at Abyss and launches a furious, desperate attack, and gets the better of the monster! Abyss is stunned and slightly bloody as Finlay screams and dances in the ring. Rating: 74
-Match: Styles/Venis v. Cody/Matthews Clean match, but the challengers actually get a leg up here with a huge win. Rating: 83
Post-show: Cody takes out Styles (72); Art d. Cor Von, Tajiri (49)
Overall: 75 SUCCESS lol angles Rating: 3.26

Tom Bombadil posted... BTW, for those of you wanting to bone up on your TEW skills, Eidenhoek has an excellent LP for that exact purpose over at GDS. It's a silly read and even I have learned a couple tricks from it. http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=466273
Thanks, I stayed up until 3AM reading that.

Please don't go. The Drones need you. Einstein would turn over in his grave. Not only does God play dice, the dice are loaded.
the internet has once again gone down in a futile effort to prevent the spread of IMPACT
Pre-show: Nixon announces that Styles and Cody will both be in action tonight in handicap matches (74, Nixon stale); AAE once again tries desperately to hype Speed Muscle (55); Samoans squashed Shango/Van Dang (41)
-Match: Styles v. Speed Muscle As alluded to in the dark segment, Nixon has put both the champ Styles and the challenger Cody in handicap matches tonight! Styles of course is booked way stronger than his opponents, but the numbers game threatens to catch up with him, especially with Estrada in Speed Muscle's corner. AAE goes for Yoshino's Cruiserweight Title to further level the playing field, but is stopped by Tyson Kidd! Styles takes advantage of the confusion, regains control of the match, and gets the win. Rating: 70
-US Title: Venis (c) v. Taylor Nope, Taylor's not over yet. Rating: 70
-Matthews runs in on Venis after the match and poses with the US Title. Rating: 58
-Edwards and Haku cut promos on each other backstage. It seems they're both looking forward to it and have decent respect for each other. Warrior's pride and all that. Rating: 66
-Match: Golden Dragons (all 3) v. MVC and Diamond Diamond fulfills his designated jobber role once again, taking the fall in a quite competitive match. Rating: 74
-MVC take offense to that, and beat him up for his insolence. Nobody. Cares. Rating: 38
-Cody is on the phone backstage with somebody! He says to whomever is on the other end that he doesn't care one bit about them. He doesn't want their help and he doesn't need their help, because he's King of the Ring. Nevertheless, they can do what they want as long as they don't get in his way. If they do, it will be unpleasant for them. Rating: 85
-Match: Barr Brothers v. Guerrero and Finlay Finlay snaps halfway through the match and starts beating the hell out of both the faces! Even Guerrero is a bit disturbed by this, and backs slowly away from the ring as Finlay gets himself DQ'd. Rating: 67
-Stacy hands Finlay the shillelagh, and it looks like the Barrs AND Senior Official Tim White are in trouble until Abyss makes the save. Finlay backs down after a couple of blows, but looks excited to fight Abyss at the PPV. Rating: 67
-Match: Show and Bobo v. Cody Literally the main event. Cody does better than one might expect to do, but c'mon, he's fighting two monster faces. Just as things start to go south for him, though, the lights go out! A pair of loud chairshots rings out, and the lights come up on Show AND Bobo down in the ring as Cody observes from a far corner. He easily picks up the win from there. Rating: 82
Post-show: Cody denies involvement in the attack but the faces and Styles beat him up house show finisher train style anyway (68); AMW w/Venis d. Cor Von/Matthews (42)
Overall: 72 SUCCESS Doi overused Rating: 3.4
