Is there seriously one of those warp barrels on every level of DKC2? I only ever found two of them on my own >_>
It'd also be nice if it showed you somehow which walls you could move through, but it's still pretty awesome

I only found the warp barrels in Lockjaw's Locker and Squawk's Shaft. Now that I know where the other ones in world 1 are, it seems like Lockjaw's Locker should have been one of the harder ones to find

I'm always struck by how simplistic video game level designs appear when you see them mapped like this. It seems most pronounced with 2D platformers, but really it seems to happen with nearly any game.

But yes, very cool.

in the overlay, click the B Barrel, and look for the W barrel on the map

I only ever found 2 or 3 warp barrels, but I was aware of their existence in every level. Invisible things are hard to find.

I....have never seen one of these before. And I've beaten the game twice and have played through the first few worlds several times.

Wow, I've never seen a warp barrel before either. I freakin' suck.

To make matters worse, I was looking for it on the map and couldn't find it, then tried turning off a bunch of background and sprites and STILL didn't find it., until I tried the above advice about the B barrel.

The warp barrels make beating annoying levels so quick once you find where the are.

DKC games are still amazing

lockjaw's locker is the only one I knew about as well! I think I stumbled upon it one time when I was trying to find a bonus stage.

What the warp barrels?

I remember in DKC1 I found those blue balloons in world 1, and that one barrel in the mine cart level that took you to the end (I guess they didn't have the solid concept of warp barrels yet), but there's a warp barrel in EVERY DKC2 level? This is too much...

Most memorable warp from the first Donkey Kong Country. Partly because of how easy it is to get to, and partly because I always used it since I didn't like the level.

You guys didn't know about the warp barrels? They're in the first two worlds of DKC2 for sure and I think they appear in the other games too. TASes use them frequently.
