Didn't see this being discussed anywhere, and I know at least five of us care about this.

-Game is rebalanced. Only a few details so far, but Raiden's dropkick got nerfed pretty hard (yay!) and Mai got a ton of buffs (boo!).

-Billy Kane and Saiki are new playable characters, and their movelists are up on the website. Hinted that another 4 or so characters will be in the final release, with Heidern and Adel being hinted at.

-Iori '98 will be a DLC character. Apparently, some magazine scan shows outlines of two other planned DLC characters.

-Pretty intensive-looking story mode. Looks to at least be on par with the Blazblue games in this regard.

-Pre-order bonus is a 4-disc soundtrack of music from the series.

I think they have a pretty good base to work with for the netcode. KoF12 eventually got good netcode after they finished patching it, but by then no one was playing because it was an unfinished game with unfinished, unplayable netcode.

And with the how hard the fans are stressing netcode to Atlus, I think they're relaying it back to SNK that the netcode has to be good.

I like KOF but I don't think I could ever really get into it. Doesn't seem like it has enough going on really. Or maybe it has too much going on I don't know.

I haven't played a KoF since 2k1. Fighting games just don't hold my attention like they used to. Might give this a go sometime soonish, though.
