What makes you think this series doesn't have the potential to be massive?

MLB the show is a huge seller, this game is one of the top sellers in its home market, this can be an alternative which could put up huge numbers.

MLB the Show is a PS3 exclusive which is selling very well, make power pros multi plat and its odds of being a hit increase dramatically.

The wii iterations suffered from being published by 2k, which pushed its own baseball series harder and MLB power pros was on the wii, now as we all know, non-nintendo games have a hard time selling like hotcakes on the wii.

Now you talk about ass, but who's the ass who said wii sports and power pros was the same thing?

You say go play it on the PSP, remember when people were highly disappointed Valkyria Chronicles games moved to the PSP instead of staying on the PS3.

being weird is probably the reason no company executive will think it will have the kind of appeal necessary for success.

I know in America, the typical sports game fan would be unwilling to play this game.

The typical NEEEERD would be unwilling to play this game because sports.

you'd be left with the small overlapping subset of nerds and sports fans.

So instead, you'd want to hope this game had a broader appeal, like the Mario sports titles, but if it has a hardcore stats system like you say, then it wouldn't have that either.

Region locking is ass though. No reason for it to exist. Part of the reason the DS is the best game system ever made.

Haha yeah, my other response was going to be "At least you aren't a Giants fan."

Got to see Tigers vs Giants last week, damn that was a great game. Japanese baseball is much more fun to go to than American baseball, the crowd is so much more into it.
