Going to Wimbledon on Thursday, although I wanted to go today (Tuesday) because Nishikori/Hewitt will be the match of the tournament. Two of my favourite players and I think it'll be close.

So far in the first set Roger looks really rusty... outside of his rediculous serve

30 aces for Roddick in his first match, not bad.

He's gonna have to be a little more aggressive on his return games (story of his career), but I'm going to chalk that up to him not wanting to expend too much energy on a first round scrub.

Date Krumm gave a great effort. Did make a few errors on big points, but Venus' serve was brilliant the whole way through the second and third sets - very hard to get into those games.

Props to 19 year old Heather Watson too - injured her right elbow at 2-3 in the second set but kept going (despite her serve and forehand being much weaker due to the pain) to the end (2-6 6-4 6-4). Showed mental strength that will serve her well in coming back from a break down in the decider and then saving three match points too. Hope she keeps up her good work on the tour.

Murray's having his usual mid-match crisis in the second set against Kamke. Surprised Wawrinka's on the brink of defeat to Bolelli - thought he'd make the third/fourth round!
