Transported to a surreal landscape, a young girl kills the first woman she meets and then teams up with three complete strangers to kill again. Wonderful movie.
Dexter Morgan defeats Peter Venkman in the tie breaker by a score of 10-6. He had a 7 sequential vote rally to come from behind. Peter is eliminated from the competition.

Unfortunately, I am traveling right now, I can't post results or the new round until tomorrow. Sorry to all those expecting the next round. It's funny how crap keeps coming up when you're running contests like these.

speedpunk posted... Wow. Just about everything I voted for lost. :(
On the bright side no one was eliminated! There's about to be a massive elimination day though. A multitude of characters are fast approaching the 2-2 mark.

Tiebreaker: Carlton Banks defeats Perry Cox 5-4 in the tiebreaker.
Comments: Atticus Finch! Donatello has won two elimination matches in a row now. Just one more left. Homer Simpson is gone too! Hes a usual juggernaut in these competitions but nows hes blasting off again. Dufresne takes care of Goofy. J.D. and Lex fall out of the competition as well.

The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.

Comments: Hook takes out Simba in close match. All of the Simpsons are gone! Dexter and Ness can't complete their respective comebacks. Captain Mal makes it to the next round!! And Donatello makes one of the most impressive runs this round to scrape into the next round.

(12) The Dread Pirate Roberts Wesley vs. Farfetch'd (12)
Comments: It was disheartening to see a few of my favorites get the axe today. Sayounara Deadpool, Hook, and Snake. Cant believe the Farfetchd run. Hes doing great. On another note, Jafar squeezes the Professor out of the competition. Also, no more Christmas. Black Knight, Winnie, and Bluth are out. Rough round with hard choices.

I'd also like to provide everybody who participates with a quick run down of basic stats. Some might find this interesting and some might not. But I'll post it anyways!!!
Characters that advanced by category:
(6) Videogames Luigi, Bowser, Kirby, Yoshi, Phoenix Wright, Blue/Gary - Nintendo (6) ~ Mario Bros (3)
(5) Comics Magneto, Joker, Nightcrawler, Batman, Charlie Brown - Marvel Comics (2) - DC Comics (2) - Sunday Strip (1)
(6) Movies Indiana Jones, Han Solo, Obi Wan Kenobi, Dr. Emmet Brown, Roger Rabbit, Agent Smith - George Lucas (3) - Steven Spielberg (1) - Robert Zemeckis (2) - Wachowski Bros. (1)
(9) Books Severus Snape, King Arthur, Hermione Granger, Merlin, Sherlock Holmes, James Bond, Gandalf, Beowulf, The Dread Pirate Roberts Wesley - JK Rowling (2) - Mythology (3) - Arthur Conan Doyle (1) - Ian Fleming (1) - JRR Tolkien (1) - Willem Goldman (1)
(14) Animation The Brain, Donald Duck, Daffy Duck, Darkwing Duck, Wile E. Coyote, Vegeta, Genie, Piccolo, Donatello, Scar, Bugs Bunny, Scrooge McDuck, Jafar, Tom - Warner Bros. (4) - Disney (6) - Anime (2) - MGM (1) - Mirage Studios (1)
(3) Television Carlton Banks, Captain Mal Reynolds, George Castanza - NBC (2) - Fox (1)
Of note, if all animated characters are combined they have 24 characters total. If all non-animated characters are combined they have 17 characters total. Its tipped, but not a terrible balance overall. As a matter of fact, not counting videogame characters as animated would make it 18-17.

Holy crap. This round has not been nice to me :\

Touch my heart. See how it beats in and out? Lucas! There's noooothing to worry about now.
1) King Arthur (counts as a Monty Python rep, tbh!) 2) Donald Duck 3) Joker 4) Charlie Brown 5) Luigi 6) Roger Rabbit 7) Yoshi 8) George Costanza 9) Carlton Banks 10) Tom
We lost some of the best characters this round, for sure; most notably Michael Bluth, Ness, Snoopy, Robotnik, the remaining Simpsons and The Black Knight. All in all, though, this contest is honestly turning out pretty well, I think!
-- The Crazy Dave rally thread purged, but it'll be back soon. Message me if you're still interested in being a part of it!
Captain Malcolm 'Mal' Reynolds (Firefly) The Dread Pirate Roberts Wesley (The Princess Bride) Nightcrawler (Marvel Comics) Magneto (Marvel Comics) Batman (DC Comics) Joker (DC Comics) James Bond (James Bond) Han Solo (Star Wars) Indiana Jones (Indiana Jones) Genie (Aladdin)

Vegeta doing as well as he has is so god damn awesome.

Will not remove this line of my signature until the Seahawks, Jazz or Rockies win a title (Started 5-16-09) I know I'm not getting rid of this signature, BTW.

Bishops Pool: Bugs Bunny (Looney Tunes) (5) Joker (DC Comics) (4) Obi Wan Kenobi (Star Wars) (4) Donald Duck (Disney) (3) Captain Malcolm 'Mal' Reynolds (Firefly) (-1) The Brain (Pinky and the Brain) (-5) Phoenix Wright (Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney) (-10)
Summation of Round: Theres a three way tie in the Kings Pool for Immunity, but the Dread Pirate Roberts Wesley was Booted from the competition. Theres a two way tie for Immunity in the Queens Pool and a three way tie for Booting. Bugs Bunny captures Immunity in the Bishops Pool while Phoenix Wright is eliminated from the competition.
So, Bugs advances, Wesley and Phoenix are eliminated, and the rest is to be decided.
