Welcome to the 2023 edition of Most Evil Fictional Character, a single-elimination tournament to determine the most evil fictional character of all time!

-First and foremost, YOU MUST BOLD YOUR VOTE FOR IT TO COUNT. The reason for this is that these topics encourage a lot of discussion and debate, and it helps me to distinguish a vote from simple discussion if all votes are bolded. So, I state again, ALL VOTES MUST BE BOLDED FOR THEM TO COUNT. I reserve the right to be lenient in early topics if people just aren't getting it, but for the most part, IF YOUR VOTE ISN'T BOLDED, IT WON'T COUNT.

-You must vote for which of the two characters you honestly believe to be the more evil of the two. You can determine this via any method you like, use your own morals and judgement, read all the arguments made to determine your choice, or however you choose to make your pick, but you must only vote for the one you truly believe is the most evil. This isn't a death battle, or a popularity contest. You're voting ONLY for the most evil character out of the two choices presented.

-While on that subject, remember that because this isn't a death battle or a fighting tournament, do your absolute best to consider the two characters as if their power levels were equal (either the weaker character brought up to the level of the strongest, or vice versa, or both if you want to consider both possibilities). Therefore, just because, for example, one of the characters blew up a planet and the other one merely kicked a puppy, doesn't necessarily mean the planet killer is more evil than the puppy kicker. Consider the characters as if they have the exact same capabilities and what they might do in that scenario.

-You can make any arguments, debates, etc. you want in this topic. Discussion is STRONGLY encouraged, a fun debate about which of the two characters is most evil is exactly what these topics are for. Just don't make it personal, no insults or flaming, keep things civil even if you disagree. Also, no vote rallying, if you want to encourage people to vote for your character you need to at least make some semblance of an argument as to why, even if it's just "Character X did (really dastardly thing), I can't believe no one's voting for them!"

-Voting will continue for exactly 24 hours after the post is made. If there's a tie, there will be a new 24 hour topic. This will continue indefinitely until a winner is determined.

STORMFRONT

Stormfront is a major antagonist in the series The Boys.

Stormfront was a superhero who replaced Translucent as a member of The Seven. Stormfront joined the Seven after Translucent's death became public and was briefly a rival to Homelander before the two became lovers. She was adept at using social media and had a large following online. Though she denied it in public, Stormfront was a closet Nazi who used her position as a member of the Seven to promote her white supremacist agenda. She took extreme pleasure in killing anybody who was not white, which is demonstrated when she massacres a entire block of apartments containing black residents while chasing Kenji Miyashiro.Stormfront also helped operate the Sage Grove Wellness Center, as a front for Vought's experiments with Compound-V. The facility uses actual psychiatric patients as test subjects, injecting them with varying doses of V, turning them into supes. The experiments were carried out with the aim of creating a more stable variant of the serum which can render any adult human into an instant superhero, with stable powers and abilities. It is but one aspect of Stormfront and Vought's secret plan to create an Aryan master race. She worked in conjunction with the Lamplighter, who burns any of the imprisoned supes that are no longer of use or become belligerent. Stormfront is aware of the contemporary public's negative opinion on racist views and does well to disguise her own fascist ideology (typically through euphemisms and vague allusions) when in situations where she could face political backlash for making her beliefs known and to claim plausible deniability. On at least one occasion, when Stormfront made veiled racial remarks about her time in the Church of the Collective (which she cryptically described as once being pure before the Church started letting all kinds of people in) to fellow Seven member A-Train, she feigned ignorance when challenged about it, insisting that she meant something else. She has displayed both sexually sadistic and masochistic tendencies, appearing to revel in orgasmic bliss in her killing of Kenji and gaining pleasure from being burned by Homelander's heat vision during their sexual encounter.

THE ANTAGONIST

The antagonist is the player character in the video game Hatred.

The Antagonist is a violently misanthropic sociopath who is defined by his utter disgust and contempt for all of humanity, wanting to murder everyone regardless of their race, gender, sexuality and age, believing human beings to be weak and undeserving of "a natural death". He shows little emotion throughout the game, apart from hatred, anger, and the enjoyment he takes in the murder of other people. He is a obvious sadist, comparing his killing spree to "feeling like the most intense drug". The Antagonist has very nihilistic feelings about life, stating his life "is just cold, bitter hatred", and also stating "no life is worth saving"; He is also shown to be both homicidal and suicidal, wanting to die violently and kill as many people as he possibly can before dying, and has absolutely no remorse, guilt, or empathy for his actions. His behavior and actions throughout the game show he is quite obviously criminally insane. Little is known about him beyond his seething hatred for humanity. After killing a drugged hostage in his basement, The Antagonist leaves home and begins to kill civilians at random. After his initial rampage, he enters a police station at One Police Plaza district to murder all remaining police officers before entering the sewers to brutally kill a team of S.W.A.T. officers. Having escaped a retaliating hipster by hijacking a train, he discovers that there is a nuclear power plant in New Jersey and begins to plan on destroying the facility. After slaughtering everyone in the train, he steals an armed S.W.A.T. van and massacres Triad gangsters and civilians in Chinatown. With the military in pursuit, he finds a politician named Jos Morales gathering the remaining population. He murders Morales and all the remaining civilians before raiding Fort Oconor to obtain C4 explosives. After overwhelming the military, he declares himself a "One Man Army" before leaving the fort. He storms the nuclear power plant, places C4 charges in the facility, and tries to coerce an engineer into overloading the reactor (which would erase the city from the earth). Frustrated in the engineer's reluctance, he murders the engineer and types in the code, 666, to overload the reactor. A group of soldiers arrive and he laughs maniacally as he is shot down. With his last bit of strength, he states that he wonders if his explosives will work, then activates the trigger that completely destroys New York City. After realizing the city is destroyed, he posthumously mutters "Well, they did.".

Stormfront

Stormfront seems to go beyond the limits of peak "violently misanthropic sociopath" (which that write up seems to be consistent with) but open to arguments.

Antagonist doesn't discriminate in who he goes after.

Personally I find the guy who will kill anybody/everybody to be worse here. Stormfront got a kick out of messing up black residents. Antagonist would get a kick out of killing ALL the residents.

That's a valid interpretation.

Antagonist

Stormfront is at least shown to be capable of feeling love for another human being, the antagonist is just an inhuman monster whose only goal in life is to inflict as much pain and suffering as he can.

The discrimination angle is more insidious than mindless violence.

Stormfront, killing out of bigotry seems worse than killing indiscriminately to me.

Kind of in the "it's worse if you target a specific group" camp. That and how she's subtle at times helps edge Stormfront as the worst of the two. But it's definitely a tough match to me.

Stormfront is a racist but she would also just kill anyone to make a point or for whatever other reason so I don't think that necessarily hurts her evilness at all.

having personally watched the boys i am going with stormfront as i never played the videogame featuring the protagonist and she is definitely evil and genocidal

Stormfront is horrible but has some ambiguity here and there, the Antagonist doesn't seem to have any.

This one is difficult. What swings it for me is that Not Important wants to die. I don't think he actually expected to get as far as he did. He even says at one point "I never thought it would be so easy to slaughter my whole neighborhood." That, and the fact that Stormfront is a literal Nazi. There's also the fact she tries to spread her evil, while Not Important doesn't. I think Not Important DOES discriminate: It's just that he discriminates against humans. But he also hates humans enough that, I think that while in the short term with Stormfront's powers, he'd do more damage. But given his desire to die, it'd end with him, and while he may inspire others he'd never try to convert them like Stormfront would. And it's that corrupting influence that puts Stormfront over Not Important for me.
