looks like a pile of garbage introducing alot of lore to the aquaman cinematic universe that is just going to seem extremely convoluted with over the top hard to watch action battles and a bad guy that is just meh. (even if he is a well storied villain from the aquaman comics).

I enjoyed the first movie, and I want the dceu to succeed but well....

I mean I might watch it eventually, but not surprising theres not much hype when DC is being rebooted by Gunn. Hopefully he can do the characters some major love because WB sure seems to like to fuck up a lot of it otherwise. Almost the entire DCEU is bad

Since Amber Turd is still in it, I ain't caring one bit. Plus it's DC and I've never really found appeal in most of DC's superheroes (really except Batman); they're too flat. DC does other things better.

Yeah this being a movie that's going to be retconned from existence literally as soon as it's out kind of makes it hard to build hype. I mean, I wouldn't care as long as it's good, but....

Aquaman having a baby boy in a movie with Black Manta as the villain.......I wonder just how close they'll stick to cannon with that one <_<

First movie is one of the worst movies I've ever seen and who could even support this movie after everything that happened and with it being so pointless on top of it all since the universe is about to be rebooted anyway.

At first it looked kinda fun, then the last third of that trailer was just a generic superhero CG-fest. Will likely be meh.

Not entirely relevant but I'm amazed that James Wan managed to direct the inaugural installments in the two most profitable franchises with 9+ movies (Saw and The Conjuring) in addition to the billion-dollar hits Furious 7 and Aquaman without being more well-known. Granted yeah I guess it's the franchises in question but still, wow.

Also similarly amazed that Aquaman is the highest-grossing DC Comics film instead of something people talk about more like The Dark Knight or Joker, although I guess Aquaman is overall more mainstream-friendly and came out in December so it was able to build up steam like, say, the Avatar movies and both the Abrams Star Wars flicks. Personally I fell asleep 50 minutes into Aquaman but hey if people liked it more power to them.

Also Amber Heard must be some new level of despicable if I feel more sorry for the guy who physically and sexually assaulted her.
