Not a whole lot yet. Mostly a cough and some congestion. Starting to feel some of the aches too.

I really hope this shit doesn't come flying back with a vengeance. We do not need that shit at all.

When I got Covid I legit felt horrid, just tired and weak, didn't want to eat, didn't want to drink, was hot and sweaty all the time and eventually one night I couldn't sleep, I was having trouble breathing and burning up and had to go to the hospital, I didn't get tubed or anything but I was severely dehydrated, started feeling better within a week.

Its just as likely hell be absolutely fine.

Ive had it 5 times and it has ranged from symptomless to bloody awful.

The one time I had it (fully vaxxed) it was mostly just loss of taste and a bit of a runny nose. No breathing issues thankfully.

The one time I had it (confirmed via test; may have had it other times but didn't test positive) it was like a cold but backwards, like, the symptoms I'd get at the end of a cold, I was getting at the start. Was during the BA.1 and BA.2 wave (we pretty much got both at the same time here), and had had 3 shots.

I'm getting the latest vaccination next month, hopefully can hold out till then.

Edit: I really shouldnt open my posts like that. I genuinely hope you feel better soon and recover well. I had Covid a year ago and it wasnt the best experience, hopefully yours is a better process. Take care.

That sucks. I recommend emergen-c, magnesium glycinate, ibuprofen, antihistamine (diphenhydramine, promethazine, hydroxyzine, Zyrtec), and vitamin d supplements(should be taking those if you don't stay out in the sun anyway).

If you struggle with it to where it causes a ton of congestion then doctors have always written me a shitload of steroids and z pack antibiotics. I dunno why the course of action is antibiotics but tbh I stash antibiotics and put them in the fridge in case SHTF. Both times I had covid I got over it easily without the antibiotics (only one time I took steroids).

I had a real bad bout of cough/congestion/shortness of breath a few weeks ago and am now wondering if it was actually Covid. I work 60hrs a week and am close to 40yo so fatigue and aches wouldnt register as anything out of the norm for me. I just got drunk on DayQuil and powered through it

Ive tested positive for Covid twice but was asymptomatic both times so idk

Thankfully it's not clogging my nose or sinuses up (yet at least) so getting to sleep is still generally pretty easy. After the last few hours though the body soreness went up like double though. I hope that doesn't keep getting worse lol.

Get some rest if possible. I'm in the "haven't had it yet" camp as well.

Yeah, i had it when Omicron was going around. Not fun. 101 fever, dehydrated, dizzy, weak, and the worst sore throat ive ever had.

I did lose like 10 pounds and got to each as much popsicles and ice cream as i wanted though.

Time to go back to masks for me.

I've got it right now, too. Second time. This bout wasn't as bad as the first time, thankfully.

I've had it three times. Might be a 4th when I hit Disneyland in two weeks. Last time felt comparable to a bad head cold.

I've had it once and I have zero interest in repeating the experience. I don't usually run fevers, even with infections but that shit gave me a 103 degree fever.

I've got it right now. Day three... Feeling a lot better and no fever today. Still congested but it's clearing up.

If you're vaccinated it'll ease it somewhat. When I got it, it was basically 10 days of the worst respiratory illness I've had in years, followed by a good two/three weeks of coughing.

Still haven't had the Rona, but I got strep throat this week, first time since I was a kid, and this is the sickest I have been in like a decade. 103 fever for days, sorest throat I have ever had, the only way I could even get out of bed was to take Advil and it would give me a 45 minute window to at least move around and do something like make food before I was back in the fetal position. Thank god I finally got some antibiotics yesterday. No idea how kids get this all the time, it is miserable

Sorry to hear that. Hope its quick with no lingering symptoms. I'm still Rona free. Ready to start wearing N95s in public again with flu season starting early.

I had it early this year. They sent me to an outpatient clinic for a 3 day course of IV treatment.

For me, it felt like a very mild cold, but being active in any way made me fatigued and have a fever. That part only lasted two days, and I didn't think to take a test until the day I started feeling better just due to how minimal my symptoms were. I just realized the fatigue part was unusual for a cold.

I think I'm through the worst of it. However sadly today my sense of taste has become like 10% of what it normally is. Weird to eat a cough drop and not actually taste it. lol

I dislike this. I hope it doesn't take months to come back.

Hope you do recover, we are assuming at this point that my wife had permanent damage. She lost her sense of taste and smell during covid and lost it for months, it's been a couple years and she said the best it ever came back is maybe 60% to date.
