Don't listen to anyone saying "X is the best part" or "part X sucks" because they can vary so wildly that which part someone will like the most also varies from person to person. Ben Diskin as Young Joseph in part 2 is one of my favorite performances in all of anime, but Matt Mercer as Jotaro, Patrick Seitz as Dio, Billy Kametz (RIP) as Josuke, D.C. Douglas as Kira, Ray Chase as Bruno, and Kira Buckland as Jolyne are all standouts too. Part 3 introduces the "Stand" concept that the series would eventually become famous for. A lot of people starting the anime find the transition a bit jarring at first, but if you give it a chance you find it gives battles a lot of room to get creative once the author finds his groove. If you care about spoilers, try to avoid any anime-related spaces on the internet while you watch. A good number of big moments have integrated into the cultural meme collective, including hidden powers, character deaths, and secret identities lol. Calwings posted... Part 2 picks up with a young Joseph Joestar who is probably my favorite of the anime. Past that, just know that the series goes through a timeline.
