I realize we missed a big opportunity here. We should have had a topic where people secretly submit via PM what they thought his punishment should have been. Then after the official announcement everyones submissions are opened and revealed. That could have been a grand old time!

this is an incredibly confusing take

a) 10 years is way beyond expectation
b) <2 week review is an incredible expedited official response time
c) Jada going without Will is an incredibly bizarre hypothetical to worry about, but also uh she didn't commit an offence so this just reeks of misogyny

They should've just banned Jada so they wouldn't be able to make jokes about her that would raise Will Smith's ire

They should have just banned presenters at future Oscars so nobody could make mean jokes. Just leave the statues at the front of the room with sticky notes saying whose they are and have all the nominees line up to check them.
