I've seen a decent number of people who like the game, myself included. I don't think I've seen anyone call it a 10/10, though. Not something I'd recommend for $60, especially considering it goes on sale a lot. --- All the stars in the sky are waiting for you. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Octopath is nearly four years old so I'd definitely say no just for that. Perhaps more to the spirit of the topic though, it didn't feel like a $60 game even at launch. $30 is about right and you should be able to get it for that pretty easily these days. --- Let the voice of love take you higher, With this gathering power, go beyond even time! ... I never got far in that one tbqh. Its concept sounds fascinating at first but it's actually detrimental to one's enjoyment because the storylines don't intertwine. Each person has their own arc - at least early on - independent of the others. There's no character interaction, which a game like this so sorely needs. I also do not understand why it's still $60 since they just released the next game in the series (Triangle Strategy). I believe I paid $20-30 for it digitally on Switch. I enjoyed it a lot and am not at all upset I paid full price, but at this point in time it goes on sale so often it's worth waiting. It's a good game, and I paid $60 for it when it was new and don't really regret it.
