Yes No If you were a judge/juror, would you have had mercy on this trailer trash? - Results (52 votes) Yes 15.38% (8 votes) 8 No 84.62% (44 votes) 44 Ex-MMA Trailer Trash fighter, Scott Fairlamb from New Jersey Sobbed UNCONTROLLABLY and got on his KNEES to the judge and begged for MERCY before being sentenced to just over 3 years in the big house for PUNCHING an officer during the Capitol Riots which is now the longest sentence for a rioter yet He is the first to be sentenced for assaulting a law enforcement officer during the capitol riot as Judge Royce Lamberth's decision was considered a "canary in the coal mine" by prosecutors who said will now foreshadow what more than 120 others like him are facing He said "Had you gone to trial, i don't think there's any jury that could have acquitted you" Fairlamb was seen unconsolable during the sentencing as he kept wiping tears away from his eyes and apologized for the disgrace he caused his family's name as his veteran father proudly served in the US Military He said "I truly regret my actions that day. i have nothing but remorse" as he begged for mercy A video showed him dressed in camo yelling at an officer and when they approached to calm him down, that's when he shoved the officer and when an officer swatted his wagging finger, that's when he punched him hard in the face He also referenced he had problems related to CANCER and cardiac issues as it's unclear why he noted that to the judge Prosecutors also demanded to fine him as he apparently solicited 30,000 in conservative donations and said it was not right for him to profit from the riots His lawyer however argued "time-served" was sufficient time as it was "rare" tos ee a "commendable" person take such a wrong step and asked to take into consideration the 11 months he already served in custody.
