Death's Door is not new, as it was PC and XBOX exclusive. But I want to recommend it to people - play it, it's good!

GTA and First Soldier for sure. I have Endwalker preordered, but considering I've only just started Heavensward, it might be a while before I actually get to it. Might check out that new Sherlock Holmes game as well.

I fucking love DP - it has nostalgia for me similar to RBY because Platinum was the first one I played after rediscovering the series

I'm more than a little miffed that this will almost certainly lack the extra features of HGSS and ORAS, but I'm still somewhat looking forward to it anyway.

Endwalker for sure, already preordered and working through the Shadowbringers MSQ to be caught up. Forza I'll play on Xbone X via Game Pass. Pokemon I'll be getting. And I'll probably play one or two rounds of First Soldier since it's free, but battle royales aren't my thing even when not on phones.

a roguelike citybuilder called kainga's due to hit early access in a week's time and that looks neat though i'm hoping it'll be less than $20, otherwise might wait for a sale for it too...

nice to see a kind of surge in these kinds of fangames (there's another one next month) thanks to 17.5 presumably. hopefully 17.5 will see a proper release soon...

considering i have not played blue reflection 1 i will 99% likely not get blue reflection 2 but i am definitely going to check out the soundtrack lol

oh right also yurucamp vn is releasing soon and deeeer simulator's hitting consoles (and exiting early access) so those are things

barebones boardgame videogames are an apparent weakness of mine so i will definitely be picking up kemonopoly. there's some chinese bunny girl shop management sim coming out the same day that looks pretty cute too so i'll probably get both (chances are they'll both be like $2 anyway). and speaking of cheap games, sunny-place, the next noteworthy game project from the creator of the spaceman sparkles series, might be entering early access this month as well.

regarding games that will likely be worth more than $5 (oh no) there's also some indie naval trading adventure game called the vellescian gambit targeting a release around the middle of the month apparently and that's also a rare weakness of mine. i've got some nostalgia for games like uncharted waters (or most personally, tradewinds) and they're hardly seen these days. and also, apparently OU might be this month as well which may well be a goty contender for me so if that's the case than yeah that's on the list too.

won't be getting it but i'm honestly looking forward to seeing an unhealthy number of vtubers picking up and playing the powerpro game near the end of the month (as usual)

Unpacking came out unexpectedly last night. On Game Pass too. Gonna check it out tonight, but its reviewing well!

Same! 19th to the 30th. I'm sure it will only take me a few days of no life blitzing but I've literally never been more afraid of being spoiled for something in my life so absolutely nothing can get in the way.

You could potentially beat through Shadowbringers in time if you no life it and do zero raids/trials.

But I would not recommend doing so!

Don't want to rush the experience, and I think people should absolutely take the time to do all the normal difficulty raids and trials as they unlock.

Yes, you could always go back and do them after of course, but still.

Also the raid series in Stormblood (and ARR) is supposedly going to be pretty important for Stormblood, and the writer has made it pretty clear that she thinks you should make sure you've played it before playing Endwalker.

Now, if you take that to heart and JUST do the normal difficulty raid series for Stormblood and the mainline, if you feel you can comfortable do that without skipping cutscenes...yeah you could do it. You're still looking at a good 180ish hours or so if you just started Heavensward.
