Far-Queue 10/16/21 2:38:52 PM #1:	We saw Addams Family 2 (the one without Christina Ricci) and Casper (the one with Christina Ricci) On the marquee it just said "Addams Family + Casper" so I was hoping for the Raul Julia Addams Fam which would've been fucking mint dude... A double feature with double Ricci? Count me the fuck in! Alas it was not to be and we were duped into watching animated Addams Fam 2 which was fucking awful but at least we saw Casper after. My son won a plush hot pepper from the claw machine and we had oversalted popcorn and bland chicken tenders. Some lady was walking around between the cars yapping on her phone through almost all of Addams Fam, ignoring repeated requests from multiple people to fucking can it A bunch of people left after the first show and didn't stick around for Casper (their loss) and once all these cars cleared out some parents decided "Hey why don't we let our sugar-fueled kids run around screaming in front of the screen?" as if they were the only people there to see a movie and there wasn't a dozen other families trying to enjoy the show Our kids were tremendously well-behaved. Even the baby which surprised me because he doesn't typically sit still for long. All in all it was fun, mostly because the kids had a blast despite the rude people. He named it Dr Pepper lol Yeah this is the first time my kids have been to a drive-in and the first time for me in over a decade. Well, my son and I did go to a pop-up drive-in at our local market... They had an inflatable screen and showed the original Jurassic Park but it wasn't a real-deal drive-in Yeah Mead we've been very hesitant to return to theaters. Especially since masks are loosely required...
