I quite quickly hit a wall where progress was too slow to be really engaging, dabbled in private servers with boosted exp for a bit, then got bored and dropped it. I believe this was fairly shortly after quitting WoW, though, so I was coming off of having multiple fully-realized characters to play around with to having nothing, on top of a slower progression rate, so that transition was probably part of why it was less pleasant.
