Dikitain 02/06/21 8:21:47 AM #1:	Thankfully he is fine, but I had to rush him to the animal hospital. Had a large gash on his hind leg that needs treatment, no stitches. Has to get some blood work, antibiotics, and possibly some pain killers. Plus will have to wear a cone while it heals. Hopefully I can take him home in a few hours. --- After 16 years, I have decided my signature will NOT be about my job! Those stairs are kind of steep and since it snowed last night kind of slippery. It is going to be more trouble but from now on I'll just take him out on a leash through the front door. Here he is when he just got back and I finally got him into his bed: https://i.imgur.com/MGRnobu.jpg After he kept pacing around and banging into things, I replaced his e-collar with his old racing muzzle. He likes it WAY more, as you can tell he finally started relaxing and even took a nap: https://i.imgur.com/x431Vvd.jpg I have to put some tape over the bottom before bed so he can't lick through it, but since I am watching him now I don't need to worry too much. --- After 16 years, I have decided my signature will NOT be about my job! She can make it down if one of us does them with her. Has to go back for evaluation at the end of the week to get the staples out of his leg and make sure he doesn't need the muzzle anymore. SunWuKung420 posted... I hope his recovery goes well. He never had a problem with it but it would scare the crap out of me because I thought he was going to break his leg if he missed. Thankfully he hasn't tried doing that in many many years. I also bought and installed a ramp on those stairs, but he hasn't gotten enough confidence to use it yet. Hopefully after tomorrow I can start getting him used to using it (too much snow out right now and supposed to have a storm tonight). --- After 16 years, I have decided my signature will NOT be about my job!
