I'll just share the 100+ one, what are YOUR most valuable games? Mine is probably not as hardcore as other's but still, I'm surprised

I'm surprised by Jojo All Star Battle, Gravity Rush, and Paper Mario. I found out about God hand last month and was surprised then.

Zombie BBQ is some dumbass DS game I found on clearance when hastings was closing down. They were like 10 bucks and they had like 8 of them. Theres no way I could've known it would become valuable though.

I actually got Jojo PS1 for like 30 bucks through Gamestop of all places a few years ago. Aww yea

ToD2 I picked up when I was on a PS1 RPG Kick like 15 years ago. This was when i was trying my hardest to buy Suikoden 2 off of Icon. (the jerkass) its actually missing it's manual though. I enjoyed that game. It was relatively pricey then too, I think I got it for like 40 used

MvC2 ps3 is my treasure. I purposely did not open that one and kept it all these years. Its not a physical disc, its a case and a code. I'm happy <3

My heaviest hitter by far is Bonk 3: Bonk's Big Adventure for the TurboGrafx-16, which is a ~$300 HuCard. Aside from that, while I have a ton of games in the $40-$80 range, I only have a handful which exceed $100. I think this about covers it:

It has some sentimental value because I actually assembled it over quite a few years.

One year I got the box, another I got the case, and then the pokewalker with the inserts. I got the game itself last year and I played it earlier this year

actually I want to share a story

I actually assembled TWO Soul Silver packages. But the cardboard box to one of them was jacked up

I also acquired a third Soul Silver Case and a HG Case (but none of the other stuff)

Last year they had a sale of b1g1 free DS games. I bought 3 soul silvers and a HG for 80 bucks (after Power up stuff and discounts)

I then sold that jacked up SS for 150, and sold the other 2 for 80-90. Cartridge only listings go 50 so those spare cases I had really upped the prices lol

so I spent 80 and made over 300 back AND was able to afford to keep the last one, which is the one I have now.

I'm a hustler, baby

Also, this is how I can afford games and pops and amiibos and stuff, i have to hustle like this >_>

I was moving stuff around and rearranging my games I think two weeks ago and I noticed I had two N64 games sealed for some reason. One of them was Ogre Battle 64 and I looked it up an a mint sealed Ogre Battle 64 goes for like $500. One went for over $1k when it was graded.

I have no idea how to even safely sell this thing, so it is sitting in a case in a box in my closet for now.

I saw rule of rose at a local game shop for 50 back in college and I remember I bought kuon for ps2 at a pawn shop for 10 bucks

It was heavily scratched and didn't have a manual but I sold it for 60 like 10 years ago

RoR was my biggest sale. Bought for $20, sold on eBay for $180 (after a first auction fell through; I think the buyer was a scammer, anyway, so it worked out in the end).

Gamecube and PS2 is kinda the hot ticket right now. Especially later half era since games tend to have smaller print runs especially when the next gen console is already released. Nintendo first party stuff almost always increases in price too

and thats what I have, I kept the box for it, but I opened it. But the game AND the wolf amiibo are still both sealed. So I dunno what they would go for lol

whats kinda funny was that from the mid 10s through i guess since covid began, prices were actually starting to flat and even go back down. But ya as a whole the past 3-4 months seem to see the uptick from the mid 00s to mid 10s again.

Seriously, what on earth are Nintendo thinking not porting/remastering some of these titles over to the Switch/Wii U? At this point, it's clear that people will flock to buy stuff like Fire Emblem:PoR, Paper Mario:TYD, F-Zero GX and Super Mario Sunshine.
