Just speaking in generalization

What I'm saying is, it's hard to endorse any space program, when the truth is, it's only going to serve the few people who will get to colonize other planets to make their utopia away from those who would rather swamp the boat because they aren't privileged enough to venture into space themselves.

Even though I have seen videos of other first stage rockets landing, was kinda sadden the video feed cutout for this particular first stage rocket landing. On another note, kinda forgot American astronauts have been hitching rides on Russian rockets for the some number of years. I know technology have improved over the years but was still surprised to see their suits so much less bulky.

might not be what you meant, but when you see a space suit in vacuum it looks "bulky" because it's pressurized (internally) and so expands in all directions in the vacuum. (unless old-style were bulky like that even when not in a vacuum, not sure now that I think about it).

The thing that I find crazy is just how sparse the inside of the capsule is. After decades of watching the Apollo missions with hundreds of switches and buttons in the command capsule, Space X's Dragon capsule looks like something out of 2001 or Star Trek. just a few switches and 2 big touchscreens. Amazing.

it kind of is. it's called iteration https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iterative_and_incremental_development

not to mention refactoring, which could be described as "accomplish nothing new, only improve the existing process"

basically, you don't just attain each step once and treat it as done. you refine each step over and over and over until its as close to perfect as it can be.
