Those polls being all about black and white, good or bad, it's pretty tough

Capcom having such a dark era is something that is very hard for me to forget. The way they killed Mega Man was brutal (no wonder MN9 made 4 million dollar). Putting out DmC while totally ignoring the fans
But in reality it's also more than that. Capcom had done shitty things for years. Not localizing Ace Attorney Investigations 2, then the Great Ace Attorney 1 and 2 were also terrible decisions
The way they treat Switch owners today? just as bad. DMC HD Collection is being sold on other consoles and PC for $30. But just Devil May Cry 1? $20 on Switch
Same goes for Resident Evil games, they are at a much higher price than other consoles
Capcom also had the Bad Box Art Mega Man thing in Street Fighter X Tekken, thinking it was funny
And they also had the whole Marvel vs Capcom 3 Infinity Stones fiasco, and the game being meh in general
They have done a lot of shit...

And yet, they are also the makers of some fantastic game series
Mega Man is my second favorite franchise behind Pokemon
Ace Attorney is in the top 5
Devil May Cry 3 is one of the best games ever
And I am currently doing a whole series marathon of Resident Evil and some of them are really, really good (some of them are also really, really shit, but this to be expected when doing a whole series marathon)

Dark Era influences me too much, with basically murdering the Star Force saga which I probably would have played had it not gone out the way it did. I play pretty much nothing of theirs besides the Battle Network series, which I enjoy. But it's spiritual successor was put down roughly that I just have to say bad here.

was never a huge Capcom fan to begin with, only a select few games I played from them and none are really among my favorites
