lihlih 07/22/19 6:53:20 PM #1:	I used to go by Daniel in grade school, so I always renamed the main char to that if I got a choice. Well, PE doesn't warn you that one of the most important side characters is named that too. So for a lot of the game, I had to try and guess which of the Daniels was speaking. ParanoidObsessive 07/22/19 9:36:57 PM #12:	When I rename characters, I never name them after myself, and usually give them somewhat exotic names that, generally, are never used for anything else in any other games, so there's never been a conflict once. I mean, if I was playing Skyrim and Alena Frostblade or Lailah al-Zahir suddenly showed up, I'd probably have shit my pants. Though back when I was still a mischievous teenager, I did name my character in FFIV "Oh shit", because it results in a few conversations where people say stuff like "Oh shit, it's you!" Which is funny for about all of 15 minutes. mooreandrew58 07/22/19 10:22:38 PM #15:	If there is no default name i have a few names i always go with. For males if its a medevil/fantasy setting aidan. If modern/futuristic/sci-fi Jet. Sometimes just chris if I feel a more regular name is more fitting. Idk I just like that name. For females either lexia alexia or alexis based on whichever just feels right for the character. In ff 9 though i always name quina fatass. Just because one line of dialogue from his/her chief becames "you pathetic fatass" --- Cid- "looks like that overgrown lobster just got served!"
