Board 8 > E3 2019 - EA's Press Conference (12:30 PM EST / 9:30 AM PST)

Unlike in previous years, EA is not doing a traditional press conference this time around. This will be an extended live stream with 30 minute segments for 6 different games. So you will get to pick and choose how much of the live stream you are interested in watching, based on which games you're most interested in. I'm labeling this as a press conference for consistency between all of the other press conference topics I plan on creating.

EA Play Review

Jedi Fallen Order - Hey we made Uncharted but now it's Star Wars!

Apex Season 2 - stuff I'll check out but not really anything where I was like OH MAN

And that's it! There's certainly no other games to show at this event.

Jedi Fallen Order looks a lot like God of War, especially how heavy the protag is if that makes any sense. Most Jedi games have you jumping and running around with crazy agility so he seems a little sluggish and clumsy in comparison. Reminds me a lot of new Kratos because he can't even jump compared to GoW1-3.

I mean honestly I think that's a good thing because the combat will be a lot tighter and the new GoW was great. Interesting to see a Star Wars game with slower combat, now just need to hope they can execute.

Oh yeah, I finally got around to watching the entire press conference. I got through the press conference quicker by playing the video in 1.25x speed, which shaves off about 45 minutes from a 3 hour video.
