I always thought time squad should have been on nickelodeon due to its animation style and mildly educational aspect.

One of the greatest cartoons of all time, too. Severely underrated.

Yeah I don't mind main villains taking longer but that's excessive. I've watched shows that 20 episodes would be damn near a whole season.

It was mostly the recoom fight I noticed they shortened. Not Goku vs recoom but Vegeta Gohan and krillin.

Dan Vs on the hub

for those who don't know Dan Vs was a cartoon about the misadventures of Dan a man who seemingly has a grudge against everything ranging from canada to George Washington to Mall Santa's To The Wolfman and every episode had him go on an insane journey to get his revenge

it only got 3 seasons and i imagine that's probably due to two big reasons

one being that despite being on a family/kids network it was a lot more mean-spirited and cruel than other shows on the network what with it's protagonist being a selfish dick who went on revenge schemes for the pettiest of reasons

the second being that the hub was bleeding money and over time they slowly started to lose more and more shows until eventually the network folded and rebooted itself as discovery family

Pretty much every show Cartoon Network killed in the 2000s. Sym-Bionic Titan, Korgoth of Barbaria, Megas XLR, Teen Titans, and so many more.

Nah, all nicktoons had adult humor hidden in them. Look at Rocko's Modern Life and Rugrats for example.

As a kid watching Rugrats, it was a show about babies and their adventures.
As an adult watching it back again, it's a show about hilariously bad parents.

Yeah even as a kid I knew Ren and stumpy was more vulgar or whatever where as other cartoons any adult humor went over my head

Megas XLR would've done even better on Adult Swim, there were some opportunities for raunch and more violence.

The first 4 seasons of Samurai Jack, the last season just tells you it should've been on Adult Swim from the beginning.

Kappa Mikey needed to picked up by pretty much any adult oriented network, period.

It was an absolutely hilarious cartoon but it was on mtv or spike or some stupid channel. If it had been on fox or adult swim I think it would have found an audience.
