I just barely beat the God of Destructions Beerus Dokkan event.

Holy crap is that hard. I don't even know a strategy to survive it better.

Yeah I think the strategy with Beerus is mixing in regular attacks with super attacks so he doesn't go into rage form so early. Then you can use the ghost usher item during his rage turns to try to skip some of the damage.

Yeah each successive super in a turn increases the gauge more than the previous I'm pretty sure

Also yes Whis was taking like 80k damage but I finally got the perfect rotation where he only showed up on the 3rd turn and he was able to not take any damage.

Unfortunately with my team combo, I tended to get super many times before I even went to pull orbs.

Might it be beneficial to try and nerf my Ki gain to get a buff? I'm trying to get enough shards to level up my Beerus but if I have to go through that again, I don't think I will for a while.

Well if you beat it once you can do it again! Do you have 4 item slots unlocked yet? That might help you out being able to bring 2 healing items and 2 support items.

Also I know you're not there yet but you might want to start getting the medals you'll need to take Beerus to the final step

Check out those medals at the bottom. The first 3 can be gotten from the Hero event which runs on weekends (and is currently running daily) but the last 2 you can only get from the Vegeta/Beerus pudding event going on right now. You farm pudding from stage 2 and then trade them for Beerus medals in Baba's shop. Bulma medals are found in stage 3 of the event

The Beerus dokkan event that you're currently doing is going to be around forever so I'd look at getting the medals that are time sensitive even if you can't quite use them yet. The Beerus/Vegeta isn't difficult and you can even farm puddings/Bulma medals on normal difficulty if you can't do Z-Hard.

I've been farming pudding to get the Supreme Kai medals. Haha.

I didn't even know I needed those Beerus ones for his LR, as I was only focusing on his UR transformation!

I think that pudding event is done soon too, so I'll have to try and farm that a lot faster.

I do have 4 item slots also. I usually put Senzu and Dende for two of them and then debate on the last two.

I'm also looking into upgrading my Str SS Goku but it says I need Nimbus Cloud medals and I'm not sure where I get those.

For beerus, definitely go with ghost usher for 1 item slot and maybe a damage reducer like king yemma for the other, or icarus if you have any since thsoe last 2 turns instead of 1.

I spent my god stone on my last broly dupe so now I have a fully EZA'd 100% broly.

Oh man I hope not because they actually have expiration dates....if you didnt use any of the previous ones I think you can only use the one they gave out with Piccolo

No that 4 represents that this is the 4th stone they've given out over the life of the game. You just have one. I definitely do NOT recommend any of the kamehameha units, or phy kid buu. Ultimate Gohan, Full Power Frieza, and I guess SSJ3 Goku are all solid even without EZA. SSJ3 Vegeta is also a tremendous tank and would probably round out your super STR team quite nicely, but he might not be best for you right now because his tanking is tied to a turn limit, which I assume most dokkan battles for you right now are taking more than 7 turns.

Although I'm not sure if you can beat any of those dokkan events that you need to awaken them because those can all get fairly tough. Especially SSJ3 Goku and Vegeta as those have a straight up turn limit and if you don't beat it by then you get OHKO'd

Honestly the only one that looks iffy is Super TEQ. I don't know the strength of Extreme PHY but it looks like your team is basically optimal on that one.

Super INT might be really difficult without UI Goku but double LR Vegito can maybe carry you.

Extreme STR might be the easiest if you take an LR Broly friend

Got my 10/10 and 5/10 sa piccolo ready to go for the eza. That was actually a relatively quick grind plus I got extra piccolos too

Yeah, my Piccolo grind is done too along with the frog grind. Back to Saiyaman medal grind even though I need a lot of the Saiyaman cards still

The SAs for the new Goku and Frieza are so lazy. Just generic copies of their stuff aside from their final transformation, but then they both have the same SA.

So I just got that new Goku card for that competition I still don't fully understand!

So my question is, is this Goku worth having on my team over my other Goku, the Pinnacle of Rage one?

Pinnacle of rage goku? I'd say yes, he's better than that. If you ever dokkan that pinnacle of rage goku? I'd say no.

It helps that you get 5 copies of this new STR Goku so you can use it to open all 4 paths of hidden potential on him.

Well a TUR (dokkan'd UR) only has marginally better base stats than a regular UR, so having a dokkan isn't the end-all to whether a unit's good or not. It's all about passives, super multipliers, and if it's a good leader unit then leader skills.. The new SSJ Goku just has a better passive than the other one, but the other one's dokkan form has an upgraded passive that gives him a reasonably large atk boost in addition to keeping his current passive. His super also greatly raises his atk before the super multiplier kicks in so while he doesn't get a def boost like this new one, he hits a loooot harder.

I mean he wont be doing damage, but he can heal a lot especially if you last long enough for him to transform

We are likely getting 2 banners with 3x 30 pulls available on them right? Have like 177 stones right now so hopefully get 6 pulls

IMO most 30 stone discount pulls have less than optimal units on them anyway. Usually lower to mid tier stuff. So I'd be hoping for a 3 then 1 free.

Nobody knows the details yet. They could be 30, 30, 30, free then default to 50 with the 4th being free or they could be the weird steps like 15-25 stones for half a multi. Banners should be dropping in 1h 40mins

Oh lame. For some reason I though maintenance was 1:30 to 3:30 but apparently its 3:30 to 5:30 eastern time. Ugh, I was literally thinking 15 mins until I can pull

Its their effort of avoiding a server crash. People will be let into the game in batches during the timeframe so everybody isnt going on at once and causing a 4-8+ hour maintenance like in the past

Instead of SSBE vegeta we get INT Gogeta because replacing him with the INT Category leader SS3 Bardock wouldve been too nice or made too much sense I guess. Turles is replaced by Super 17 on the Frieza banner.
