I watched an interview saying the ship has sailed for him, but it was always something he wanted to do. They could convince him. Assuming Disney would be interested in Jackman playing Wolverine in the first place.

Btw, I have not watched Logan yet so please use the spoiler tags when discussing it. Thanks!

watch logan. i'm not a big marvel or wolverine fan and I thought the movie was damn good.

i'm more worried about whats going to become of deadpool with disney buying fox. i'm betting they either don't use him, or make him way too tame for my liking.

I hope not.

I love Hugh Jackman and I love him as Wolverine, but he's had like 8 movies as Wolverine. I think he's done enough.

I'm not into comic book movies either. But yeah, I missed my chance to see it at the theaters. And I bought it digitally when it came out but still haven't watched it. lol. I'll watch it soon I hope.

That's a good question. I wonder if Ryan Reynolds would even play Deadpool anymore if Disney steps in to make him too tame or whatever. I don't think he would.

oh i'm into comic book movies. i'm just more a DC fan boy. sucks they aren't quite as good at movies as marvel though. (but i'm a lot more fine with their movies than the average person)

and yeah I doubt Ryan would. and thats a shame he seemed so perfect as deadpool

1) Disney is not buying Fox.

2) It's unlikely he'd return for so many reasons.

Yeah, I also want a different Wolverine partly because I was never terribly keen on Hugh in the first place. Granted, I also just want a Wolverine who actually wears the damn costume. And, you know, maybe they can get a guy who's actually short enough to play Wolverine. Jackman is over 6'0" playing a 5'3" character.

I doubt they'll ever do the costume even though I saw a episode on of super powered beatdown that showed it could be done and still look decent. (wolverine versus predator I wanna say was the video)

the height thing they could have done with current technology. I mean its to my understanding the dude who played the dwarf in LOTR (forget his name, never read/watched the series, sue me) was taller than the dude who played legolas in real life.

He said that the one way he would return to the role would be if the character was in an Avengers film.

I wouldnt hold your breath though. He isnt cheap and his passion as an actor is clearly elsewhere.

Gimli and John Rhys-Davies (who also starred in Sliders and the Indiana Jones films). At any rate, even if they were to do that -- which they wouldn't (because it would take too much effort, for starters, and they don't care about the accuracy) -- it's a bit late for that since his height as Wolverine is pretty well-established for fans.

what bothered me more in the movies was his weight. for his supposed weight from what i've read it is, there should have been things in the movies that should have been slightly different to reflect that.

think I read he weighs something like 600 lbs due to all the metal in his body. yet I seem to recall him in one movie jumping from a good distance onto a metal roof which I doubt a 600 lb man wouldn't have not gone through or at least put a sizeable dent in.

And don't forget that one scene in Xmen Origins Wolverine when he sat on a bike and it acted exactly like as if a heavy person would've sat on it.
It kinda bothers me now that nothing else in the movie series shows off his actual weight.

its possible. not going to say its likely, just possible. no where near that amount but I was told of a football player the other day who at some point turned down 4 million dollars more than what he already made to go to another team. apparently his reasoning was his family lived in the area of the team he already played for.

point being when you're already rich sometimes personal reasons will make people say no to large amounts of money us normal people would never dream of saying no to.
