From what I've tried of Doomfist he feels amazing to play. I'm not sure about his glass cannon balance though. Seems both too weak (in health) and also too strong.

He's basically a Spy who is allowed to facestab... which is kinda awesome I guess.

yeah, roadhog was my main and i was very good with him. can't even kill tracer/genji after hooking them. now i hook a soldier and then he just runs away laughing at me. roadhog is easily among the worst characters, if not the worst, at this point

i was fine with the hook nerf. what came after is too much.

It's funny because Hanzo's scatter arrow was way cheaper than Roadhog's hook ever was and they haven't changed it. Roadhog got nerfed so hard he's awful. I mean it would be like if they nerfed Soldier's damage by half, removed his healing and took away his rocket and sprint

it makes no sense, roadhog's small clip and long reload time, plus the hook nerf, made him incredibly well-balanced. they claimed they wanted to eliminate "one shots" but that's the whole point of the hook and he has a lot of negatives that balance that out. there are still some serious one-shots, like, as you mentioned, hanzo. and he can do that about as often as roadhog hooks, and hell, his requires less aiming.

Doomfist and Reinhardt can one shot people with their charges too and that's as fair to me as Roadhog's hook. If you get hit you deserved it 99% of the time

if i had to guess, i'd think doomfist gets a slight nerf to the range of his charge, or an increased charge-up time but yeah, i really hope they roll back the roadhog changes. right now, he has no use in the meta. he can't even take shields down at this point given his reload speed.

I still wish Widowmaker would be changed somehow too. People say on PC she would be too good if she was, but there's no reason they can't do more console only changes like how they did with Torb and Sym turrets. Unless you have insanely good aim she offers nothing to the team. Her scoping is literally all she has and Hanzo has way more generous hit boxes than her which makes her even more worthless.

roadhog is super vulnerable all the time because he's one of the easiest heroes to hit, and you can hear him a mile away so if he catches you around a corner you've made a mistake. now he's so weak that he can hook the lowest health character, shoot them, not kill them, and die in the process. that's a problem

Yeah, I used to be not bad with Roadhog. I didn't have the best hook accuracy, but it was rewarding when I got people. Now he is flat out trash though. Can't even hook kill Mercy or Lucio anymore and that's a huge problem

I watched a team mate clutch kill 3 people in a 3 elimination with Roadhog

granted 2 of the kills were hooking someone and throwing them off a cliff

but still, he might have some uses, just not in the same way in whatever they used to be

I think they announce it a week ahead of time. I'd expect the event to drop the 2nd or 3rd week of August

That's just an estimate. If they announce it on Tuesday we wouldn't get it until the following Tuesday. Hopefully the drastically reduced dupes in loot boxes counts event ones because that would be awesome. The event has to be pretty soon because they usually last 3~ weeks I think and they will want a little time off before Halloween 2 which is probably going to happen.

They can, but they don't appear to sparkle like they used to so it's harder to tell if you have a dupe. I got a dupe Torbjorn spray earlier and it wasn't sparkling. I know it was a dupe because I already have all his sprays. They definitely aren't removed, but they have much lower odds. They can't really remove them altogether because then you would be getting 4
Legendary items per loot box once you reach a certain point

I've noticed I've been getting alot of coin prizes instead of dupes.
