You could very easily get an apprenticeship in Machining/Toolmaking. But the pay suuuuuuuuucks to start.

Job #1 I skim through documents until I feel like I have enough info to make a two-three page report.

Job #2 I watch YouTube and occasionally answer dumb questions from people that have been doing if for longer than I have been working there.

Groundskeeper/maintenance worker, at least the job title. Basically I clean toilets and empty garbage, then find ways to waste the rest of the night until I'm needed again.

In the past, I've sold paint, worked as a bike detailer/tow truck driver for a Harley shop, grew human fibroblast cells for Smith&Nephew, a microbiologist for a CMO, environmental monitoring tech for Amgen, various other biotech/pharma jobs and night shift lead for Lonza.

aka Pharmacy Tech. I process scripts, fill them, and sell them. Nothing too fancy =)

I'm service manager at a large commercial tire shop. I do most of the billing, schedule delivery/pickups, delegate what goes on in the shop and smooze/call on customers.

I started off in the industry nearly ten years ago in a different shop, got promoted to the service truck, then managed the warehouse, then inside sales. I left the place I was at for a lot more money and a company truck at my current job almost two years ago and I'm being trained for store manager.

Not too bad for never graduating high school.

Right now I'm overseeing a multi million dollar upgrade process.

Normally I just do IT.

Yay for surplus spending!

i work in a call center for a security company.

mostly deal with guards who are too stupid to check into their posts but also monitor alarms and help clients out with problems, as well as set up new temp service. hate when i have to call the off-duty cops tho, they are either super ultra polite (like how i feel a cop should be) or you get the ones that have attitude problems.

I draw construction documents, mostly.

Starting Monday I'm gonna demolish a house, but be out of work again when that's done. Around January and February I cleaned up storm damage. In April I worked for 3 days at a cucumber packing house, and that was hot garbage. There's a reason mostly only illegals work at those places.

But short answer, I don't have a steady job atm. I'm hoping to get one at or around the college when I start.
