Not really anything else on it since I canceled about 2 months ago, but I wouldn't mind paying for another month to watch castlevania if it's decent.

i only saw the first epsiode. 30 minutes was way to short to make a my decision. So i will say it need more uph. (unlike Glow and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt which i loved after the first episode)

i'm not big on thier accents, but it makes sense to the series. The animation is a little dry.

But i say this "i side with Dracula".

It has a lot of gore and i feel like the ending they were just trying to throw out as many F- bombs to show that this is not for little kids.

I'll keep watching. It's better than the youtube series that had Marina Sirtis (Star Trek Gen) and Michael Dorn (Star Trek Gen)

Watched it all before and during dinner.

It was overall quite good, episode 2 dragged a bit though.

Way to short though, that felt like a pilot/prologue, not an entire season.

Just finished the whole thing and it was great! Pretty short though, only four 23 minute episodes. I wasn't expecting it to have that much of a sense of humor, either.

Maybe someone who's more in tune with the game series can say if it's fairly accurate or not. I've only really played the ones on the DS.

Watched the whole thing today. Second episode is meh, rest is pretty good. I'm glad it's based on Castlevania III

Well, it has more story and characters than Castlevania III, but it most closely resembles Castlevania III.

I like this version of Dracula. My favourite would have to be the first and fourth episode. Can't wait to watch more! :))

I watched it earlier, thought it was ok. Kinda thought the middle episodes dragged a bit, but the start and end were great.

Well, it's said that Castlevania is stylistically like Vampire Hunter D. Could try that.

I mean, they're all bad.
I've liked them since I was a teenager, and they're all super super bad.

I'd say it's a bit closer to Ninja Scroll, but there is definitely a VHD influence (see: Dracula's castle).

it felt like a huge tease.

4 episodes that just build the world.

They might as well just release it as a made for tv full length movie. (It felt more like a pilot than series)

It was good overall since i wanted to see more. i wonder what they are going to do for the next 4 epsiodes. Will they meet Grant D Nasty and team up with him, or just go on and fight Dracula. I feel like Castlevaina 3 does have the biggest source material that they can make things up with.

I wonder if they will go back to the past and tell the story of Simon and maybe how he was the one that was excommunicated from the church?

But It seems like they want to follow Alucard story and set up the Symphony of the Night Story.

I wonder if they will even tell Ritcher story first before doing the Symphony of the Night Story.

From what I know of it, the origin of the Vampire Killer should make for a good story like this as well yeah. I think the excommunication probably happened over the timeskip, do not think it was Leon though. Trevor in the show looks like it probably was his father or maybe grandfather that were excommunicated as nobles.

But don't go in thinking ninja scroll or Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust. Its more relax than those to movies. It's more with the original Vampire Hunter D movie.

It's odd that Trevor is the comic relief. I guess the red headed Trevor has more aggression/bloodlust than the brown headed Trevor.

I quite enjoyed it and am looking forward to more of it.

Pretty easy to watch the whole thing in one sitting. All told the 4 episodes are around 100 minutes, about the time of a movie (which I am surprised they didn't just go with that then a mini-series).

It was pretty good. Very bloody with heads, limbs, and body parts flying all over the place. The story is basically Castlevania 3, they didn't take a ton of liberties with it. Certainly worth a watch.

That's a plus. I really like the original. I have not seen Bloodlust. Lost my desire to watch what anime was being put out around the early 00's.
