People I'm playing with will be around structure deck level. Think the toughest guy in the group runs E-Heroes. Just want something that won't break the bank and will compete in that kind of setting.

Would prefer it to not be pendulum or fusion solitaire.

Also is VRAINS that scary? I'm browsing tcgplayer and all the singles from the last few sets look like they've dropped a ton in value. Think they'll go back up?

This is one of those decks that has had some appeal to me. But aren't some of the support cards kind of pricey? I'll look into this.

Lol. I think some guy played this against my Harpie deck a bunch of years ago. Was hilariously fun. Felt bad for him though. >_>

Yosenjus can be built really cheap (like $50 max for all of the main deck Yosenju cards, then just fill the rest with staple Spells/Traps) and are a pretty good anti-meta deck. There are some Yosenju cards that focus on Pendulum summoning, but there are plenty of deck variants that focus on Rank 4 Xyz summoning instead, and you can throw in a couple tuners (most notably Genex Ally Birdman) to open up Synchro options too.

The only problem is that some of the very best Rank 4 Xyz monsters can get pretty expensive. You may have to settle for a less than optimal (but still fairly good) extra deck if you want to stay within a budget.

poor fortune ladies
believe it or not there was a time when they were the most powerful of the girl decks
they couldnt stand up to the meta at all but compared to harpies at the time, or amazoness or the other female monster decks fortune ladies were powerful.

then harpies got all that new support which suddenly made them leagues more powerful than anything else
then melodious divas with their powerful lock happened. and then we got a bunch of powerful girl decks that left fortune ladies in the dust

and of course now we have trickstars which is a girl deck that can compete with the meta and has actually been frequently making it to the top 5s in tournaments in the OCG
