Just got around to watching all the news today, and Kid Icarus is definitely coming up on top for me. Before today this wasn't even in my top 10 most anticipated.



I never realized how deep this game was. Damn this video just made me a huge Sakurai fan. Say what you will about Brawl, but he definitely is capable of high-quality stuff.

Hope tons of B8ers buy this, multiplayer's gonna be sooo good.

So after the game went on sale, we started the Smash Bros. DOJO!!4 website and visited media entities and people who looked like they might understand and explained it to them in our efforts to continue communicating the appeal of this game. This was around 1999, before I moved to Nintendo.

wait, there was a Smash Dojo for SSB64? And therefore I also assume for Melee?

Honestly that was a pretty amazing video; I'm definitely sold on the game now.... well, I will be after I've played the demo and get the opportunity to actually use the controls. It'll probably be a late-Summer purchase for me though in lieu of other big releases at the time; the multi-player looks great but I already have enough titles with endless multiplayer to play that don't require using Nintendo wifi connection nonsense.
