I heard they were revoicing everything. Does Star Wolf still sound like an evil British villain, or is retconned to a rough pirate like later games?

Wolf better sound British. And honestly, a lot of what's been reported about the Japanese release is seriously disappointing:

-No new content.
-Can only map A/B button controls (so no Y to shoot!).
-No WiFi confirmed, for those who were still clinging to hope.

we've only heard Fox, Peppy and General Pepper so far, but they were all faithful to the originals. Wolf will probably be fine

I think there are new voices but the same script.

I'm sure some legal issue someway prevents them from using them anyway.
