There are answers, and in 3 and 4 there arent Good writing (Bethesdas idea of writing is a son looking for a father and a father looking for a son. I kinda prefer how Skyrim did it by making you a total nobody despite your character's powers. It really fucks with the roleplaying aspect of the game.
