You can indeed take over subreddits if the mod is inactive, but thats not what happened. I was pretty inactive, which allowed the usual suspects to turn the place into a foundation for harassment, so I just said fuck it and dipped out.

You cant de-mod yourself unless there is another mod to take over, so I freely gave it to Tails. It was basically his Reddit at that point anyhow. So I didnt try to fight it, I just wanted to rid my hands of it.

Abandoned accounts won't be good because they had to login after 4/15/2023 in order to be given access to CE

Because you have to remember that these people are really, deeply mentally unwell.

I recall it took no time at all back in the day for people to call Tails and others of his ilk, SMAL, etc. mentally unhinged. It took little interaction to see it wasn't just trolling, that something was wrong with these people. And we were right. Stuff like this is add it to the pile, it was long ago proven that Tails and the like are OBSESSED with this place and clearly mentally unwell in real life. Like, medication and therapy needed.

There's been loads of research and scientific papers published over the years that show people like this, across any forum/social media platform do indeed end up having actual mental conditions IRL, are IRL criminals, or combinations thereof.

So, when you encounter people like Tails online, you can indeed assume something really is wrong with them. Not that you need science to prove that someone that spends all their time being racist, bigoted, and obsessing over 1 message board on a dying website has a few screws loose.
