This just feels patiently false. We out town power and have to pivot ALL the damn time. It's why the b8 special typically involves one or multiple brand new lynches forming in the final few minutes of the day, because claims come out and everyone pivots in unison forcing more and more claims.

I'd love to see a game where only 1 person claims day 1 and everyone just stays the course on their lynch and no crazy pivots occur.

I feel like players here way overestimate scum night actions. They're only scary when scum has the necessary info to optimize usage of those actions.

Meanwhile, town powers usually excel in environments where there's limited info. Every time town has given up way more information than they should have, scum has been able to capitalize on it.

Furthermore, people keep saying D1 info is valuable and so we should lynch, but I can't recall a game in recent memory where players have actually gone back to reread D1 and found strong evidence to accurately convict scum. It's far likelier that players just don't bother ISOing or going back to reread and instead just vote based on info that's readily in their faces.

Especially as the game goes on where the people who would go back and reread are likely dead or scum.

NL is lame, but "we get lots of info out of D1" is an overrated take imo. Corrik shot scum. Let's just take our lucky victory and play it safe.

I know that I get a lot out of day 1 and I absolutely re-read it. So I'm saying I personally value the hell out of it and there's no overrating what it means to me. Can't speak for everyone else I guess.

You are very much the exception, Ben. If you're town and alive near the end of the game, scum is cooked unless people just decide not to listen to you.

I still vividly remember that time you had the game literally solved and town only lost because two players decided to lose their heads and go off the deep end. Those players are the ones I'm worried about staying alive in the end game and not using any D1 info to their advantage.

Day 1 is a great day for info usually. No Lynch is bad play

Let's just play it safe Corrik. Instead of testing our luck

I'm standing firm on No Lynch. I'll contribute to discussions, but I earnestly believe that No Lynch is the safest way to not throw the lead that Corrik has given us now.

Its always aggravating to watch people play not to lose instead of play to win tbh

The big reason my Ulti divining is clouded is this

Why say this about FD and not Enchantress (Lea)

because it is too high a risk to take. You want to take down scum, what will probably happen is that you kill town.
