I let my luck dictate how deep I went on Acheron. If I lost my 50/50, then I just wouldn't bother at all and keep saving. If I won, then I would at least try for E1. If I won that 50/50 too, then I'd go all the way for E2S1.

It decided to give me two Acherons and then pull the rug and give me a Himeko and Bronya's LC, so I had to dig into all of the new top up bonuses, but to E2S1 I got.

It took an entire year but it's kinda crazy Nihility is in the running for best DPS path

Not because it's #1 at something in particular, but it just seems to do everything

I lost the 50/50 with E1 Yanqing so... really gonna hope for Aventurine.

Every path's potential continues to rise. I'm seeing teams where Robin is the DPS coming out in the leaks lol. And it WORKS!

Just dismantled Death with him and Sampo in SU. Admittedly that's Sampo and Nihility path doing most of the work.

I suppose Seele just set this precedent for just raw, circumstancless, on turn numbers that they haven't really done since then.

Boothill is gonna be hitting that niche too, I suppose? Still has other factors to consider like Break Effect, compared to Seele just bursting. It's not like Seele needs a new set since she's Quantum, but it's weird that Boothill is going to want, what....2 piece Physical, 2 piece Break? Feels like there should be something designed for single target damage.

Honestly I much prefer Ratio spreading damage across 2+ big hits because it makes him a champ at breaking, which is busted if you add Ruan Mei. And Tingyun giving him more ults also goes kinda nuts.

Also because when Seele's ult doesn't crit I want to throw my phone across the room

There is no escape.

No Herta needed. Got full stars by scraping 25k on the first half with Kafka/Black Swan/Jingliu/Ruan Mei. And then fully clearing Cocolia side with Acheron/Pela/Sparkle/FireMC

I have E2 which definitely helps but Acheron is nuts this Pure Fiction with how fast she can build stacks for her ultimate with the right passive. I 40k'd the Cocolia side with Fu Xuan/Himeko/Sparkle/Acheron. So no Nihility even needed though I guess Himeko does apply debuffs through burns.

I also barely broke 20k on the other side even using Herta but we don't talk about that one.

I also got a 5* on the standard banner today

Holy shit. I had given up on the previous Pure Fiction cus I got no follow up attackers. But Acheron, with the buff to turn ults knto follow ups, just helped me get full stars like it was nothing. Her ult builds up the gimmick damage from 0 to 100% cus each hit counts.

I guess the one thing is, when it's about to be the Eye's turn, you hold Acheron's ult, wait for the Eye to advance all enemies, then immeadiately unleash the ult.

Did a ranker here and it made me realize how good 2.1 was. Did not think going into this that he would top my rankings, but yeah. It checks out.

I selected unreleased with it and she appeared for that. I dont think Aventurine showed up though. Only Penacony ones that showed up for me were Sparkle, Acheron, Black Swan and Misha I think

Ratio went from one of my worst as of 2.0 to one of my favorite as of 2.1

Also Acheron really is kinda busted with Erudition in SU. I did a conundrum 2 run this morning with her, Pela, Gui and Gepard. Gui and Gepard has zero relics equipped and I still cleared.

Triple disappointment starts today

This game is such a bastard. I'm trying to get some better relics for Gepard / prefarming DEF relics for Aventurine, and all of a sudden there's attack and crit substats flying around all over the place ugh

Yup. I was DEF pieces nonstop when I was farming for Acheron. Now that Im farming for Gepard, nothing.

I've gotten so many great crit pieces for the watchmaker set it's unbelievable

For the record I believe this is hard-coded into the game, not in the "wow my bad luck just makes it seem that way" sense

I struggle not to believe that sometimes, because it's just really curious how hard it is to get Defense bodies for defense sets and HP bodies for HP sets.

Probably just confirmation bias, though.

I don't see why they wouldn't do it. They're already known to tweak main stat drop rates in ways that are invisible to the player* so I don't think it's much of a leap from there to differ them by set.

*Unless I've been the victim of some misinformation campaign, which I suppose is not impossible

I did 4 of the triple drops on Topaz/March one. I dont think I got anything great out of it though. Next set of 4 Ill try for Xueyi I guess though I dunno if anyone else really uses that set (Talia)

I guess I should clarify that of course I have no way of really knowing this. I do suspect they do this but it's probably irresponsible to try and assert that with any strength without some kind of statistical survey, which is really the only way to know for sure. (Or I guess getting access to the code but I don't think that is going to happen)

So let me get this straight for Acheron.

18% from E1.
4% from pioneer.
12% from Izumo.

So you need only 66% CR on the stat screen outside of battle?

I mean it's hardly the end of the world if they do, it's not like you pay money to grind relics (....or at least you shouldn't be), plus you can also get some niche pieces out of it for characters like Aeventurine of Bronya.

Didn't some other game recently get caught secretly making it so people who were big spenders already had lower drop rates on limited characters, and they got caught because the drop rate actually fell to 0?
