I have little control I literally have to not buy it in bulk to stop myself and when I get it I do my best to not keep it in my bedroom and leave it in the kitchen. I should focus on excercise more but I am actually the laziest person so I just really focus on eating habits more

My body seems to be odd. I went to the store and my Shirt size was a LARGE!!!!! In a dress shirt and Polo. However I was still at a 44 in my Suit Jacket . Oh well I am still cheering the large. Its been so long since I didn't have at least one X before my size.

Other news I gained most of my sick weight back LOL. Logically I know that is good. But it is always a whiplash to be like oh damn it 7 pounds more. Oh thats right I been dehydrated for the past few days and sick as hell. This is me back to normal.

I'm a consistent 215 or so pounds during the month of Ramadan. Ankle still healing feels a little better but don't have full range of motion back and still discomfort when moving it in certain positions.

My goals moving forward are to clean my diet (been binging on ice cream recently). And regain the confidence to start exercising and playing basketball again. But I'm worried about reinjuring my ankle. Don't know if I should stay away from basketball for another month but in anxious to get back also because that's what helped me lose the most weight.

Long term goal is to get to and stay at 185-200 pounds with a strong level of lean body mass. Started at 242 so far

Okay, so 200 is like my 180, as I am 2 inches shorter. It is roughly 10 pounds per inch for adult men.

I am 176 or so, so in that vicinity. You definitely have bigger shoulders than me though! Thag adds some weight.

246 but having a health issue. Feels like I have something lodged in my airway but I'm not choking. Can't move around without a serious pain in my chest. Feels like a burp that can't be cleared. Girlfriend says I'm having heartburn for the first time but it feels like more than that.

Did trampoline work late last night while watching a historic boxing match between Austrailian Tim Tszyu and Sebastian Fundora. The heart work wasn't as strong as my watch read but it was still good.

Ok, turns out the wicked headaches and heartburn I've had over the few days is due to a change in medication. I had bad labs during football season (Back when I was 255 and inflating) and my doc just read them and suggested a change from 20 mg of atorvastatin to 20 mg of rosuvastatin. It turns out rosuvastatin is a way more potent cholesterol medication and it can cause heartburn and headaches like I've been having.

The way I found out was funny. I called a nurse friend and asked about the side effects and he asked what I had been eating and drinking first. I was going crazy telling him about my symptoms and I read my blood pressure and it's 128/84. He's like, "That's pretty good. You on meds?" Then I told him about the change and he started laughing and mentioned the side effects and the potency thing.

I really thought I was about to die for two seconds. I guess this is similar to how Ozempic people feel about fatty foods. Gonna lift and ride to celebrate another day above ground

Weighed 232 this morning. That's the same as it was last September when I resolved to hit 199 by this point. That was an ambitious but certainly manageable goal. However, a string of family tragedies just really took me out of the right mindset for more aggressive weight loss. I've done long term caloric deficits before and I knew I did not have the right frame of mind to pull that off or the desire to experience the effects on mood.

Instead, I shifted to body recomp at maintenance. 2500 calories a day and lifting 4 days a week. I cut out running but took up long walks again. I'm the same weight but I've gone down two notches on the belt and all my clothes are fitting a little looser in my doughier areas and a little snugger in my usually lacking areas. 199 is still the goal but maybe for next year. I'm just going to keep doing this for the time being and build as much muscle as possible.

I have no clue what is going on with my weight. I keep going up and up. I was was sick for a little while back and I got down to 185 now with in like a weeks time I am at 197 pounds. And I have not been eating that much. Last time I had like two chicken wings and that is it and I gained. I don't know what is up. I am under a lot of a stress so maybe that is doing it. I am just getting overwhelmed by everything. I hope to get stuff on starting tomorrow.

How much weight you lose while sick? Body could just be normalizing itself since you've been getting healthier

Body works weird. Could be keeping lots of fluids or retaining nutrients from being sick. Best not to question it and continue what you have been doing thats been working

Yep, you always gain back sick weight. Don't think of it as a bad thing, just try to build up your aerobic fitness.

User The Liar Paradox it's never a bad idea to build muscle. You can always run but don't expect it to be easy when you start again. you'll be stronger for sure. From my experience, yes, long term caloric deficits can be hard to pull off.

Didn't lift but did ride for a bit outdoors. Covering elections tonight and going to try to lift heavy between calls.

I have a basket on the back of the bike with a saddle bag. I admit, they are the best. Filled with candy, bananas, tools and tubes.

It's about to storm here in the South and I got a ride in before it got bad. Wind was ROUGH. Without glasses, my eyes would have been in danger. Going to lift, walk on the treadmill and ride again to Orlando @ New Orleans tonight. I try to stuff my off days with as much exercise as possible.

245.6 Huel has me down net 5 pounds since I started eating and drinking it Feb. 1. GF and family members are starting to steal my shakes so I guess it's working.

My weight keeps going up. My Doctor thinks it could be a medication I took a week or two ago. This is horrible. So I am going on super cut. I am going to try to do 500 calories a day until I start going down.

Okay, April is going to be better than March. Between moving, snow, and kids' Spring Break, I kinda sucked.

I lifted on Wednesday, doing a mix of chest, shoulders, back, biceps, and triceps

Ran 2.5 miles yesterday (kept it short because it had been 12 days and didn't want sore quads)

Did 100 pushups today and about to walk a couple miles.

Here is the big question. A friend is trying to get me to run a half marathon with her in October. Should I sign up?

Edit: trying to recruit another friend. She is my running buddy (and life therapist lol). If I can get her to sign up too, I might follow through.
