-decided to act as a vigilante despite not being qualified to serve as law enforcement or private security

that two people wouldn't have died.

You can't claim self defense when you go looking for trouble, and bringing an assault rifle anywhere other than a gun range certainly qualifies.

He was there (in his words) for "cleaning graffiti" and "rendering medical aid". What part of either of those activities did he need a gun for? An assault rifle's sole purpose for existing is to end life as quickly and efficiently as possible.

And I agree the court failed. The verdict was correct but the charge was wrong and that's why justice wasn't done.

He did not travel across state lines to his mass shooting event with a firearm. He secured that when he arrived.

Prosecutor in the KR case fucked up big-time. I mean, they literally asked him why he remained silent during interrogation. I was surprised the judge didn't grant a mistrial right then.

That and the fact that he's trying to sell gun nut paraphernalia as well.
