It's one of those movies that you will either like or dislike because of the direction they take the movie (big spoilers) ~~your preference is going to be solely based off if you like or hate Aliens Covenant because they are leaning heavily in that direction for this movie.~~ It's set between Alien and Aliens. Not to say that I haven't been burned by the more recent Alien films, but I'd be willing to give a new Alien film a chance. Ridley Scott isn't writing or directing this which is probably for the best given how his Prometheus/Covenant films introduced concepts in one film and aborted them in the next. It's got the same director that made the 2013 Evil Dead, which IMO was a good movie, so I am interested to see what he can do with this Alien film. --- And that blood is so real, because I just can't fake it.
