I feel like there so many other toxic things within the gay community that the gays isnt worth focusing on.

For being so vocal about inclusivity etc so many gay people are shallow and judgmental af.

I'm "bi" but I never tell anyone because I have no reason to, don't want random guys hitting on me, and don't like having it automatically be 20% of what people think of when they think of me. I think most people are bisexual to some extent and just don't like the stigma attached to it, have some kind of mental block put up to ward off any slightly gay thoughts they might have very easily.

I read that only 1.3% of the population is bisexual and I call total horseshit on that. And 1.6% identify as gay? Yeah, and that's why 30% of the porn I see posted is gay. Sure guys, whatever you say.

idk man I guess we can go back to agreeing that its messed up that gay people feel so comfortable putting explicitly toxic things like no blacks in their Grindr profiles but Im not really sure where you wanna take it from there.

Or to put it another way, sometimes I find it exhausting that so much of gay identity revolves around trauma and negativity, and I think there is value in focusing on celebrating that we in many ways have all of the same opportunities that non-queer people do while our community is also more accepting of fun things that are stigmatized in the society of the straights ;) particularly when it comes to expressions of sex.

See? Tales of sexual depravity led to an interesting discussion about queer identity. Sexual depravity wins again! :D
