and naturally the stereotype of gays being too sexual comes in only a few posts in smh lol.idk man I guess we can go back to agreeing that its messed up that gay people feel so comfortable putting explicitly toxic things like no blacks in their Grindr profiles but Im not really sure where you wanna take it from there. Or to put it another way, sometimes I find it exhausting that so much of gay identity revolves around trauma and negativity, and I think there is value in focusing on celebrating that we in many ways have all of the same opportunities that non-queer people do while our community is also more accepting of fun things that are stigmatized in the society of the straights ;) particularly when it comes to expressions of sex. See? Tales of sexual depravity led to an interesting discussion about queer identity.
