You kinda answered your own question on why there's a difference. With an escort, it's a business transaction, and it ends there. There is no "woman scorned" scenario because both parties go into it as a transaction. It CAN be both, but it's very unlikely "weird kink" is a major reason over just... The transaction aspect.

It's not a hill I'm willing to die on, just saying, the wealthy are known for being greedy and miserly with their money and they get more out of paying for someone to not spread around their weird ass shit they're into which could hurt their reputation than to just merely have an hour of "I could be doing this with literally anybody else with no complications, however I'm paying for you for reasons".
