The facts arent in dispute, the problem is how clearly excited you are at the idea of it happening as some kind of revenge or just desserts against brown people because they dared to vote uncommitted in a February primary. You just sound unhinged.
Why is pointing out something somehow exciting to you?

I'm telling you and every other person who thinks Trump and Biden are no different, one is openly talking about deporting any non white person while the other is not.

Draw your own fucking conclusions, MAGA troll.

32% of the poll respondents consider themselves Independent. A higher percentage than both the Democrat and Republican identifying respondents. That's kind of interesting, is that common or has that ever happened before?

It seems in the past people were more likely to at least identify as one of the parties. Now it seems that the popular sentiment is to be self identifying or check out from either of the major parties in the system today

the democrats lost their party advantage over the past 10 years, which is part of the problem

used to be obama could just rely on turnout to beat someone like mitt romney, even though romney won on persuasion by capturing independents the dems just had more votes. now the democrats don't have the advantage anymore. blame whatever you want -- gamergate, right-wing radicalization, the 2016 DNC shit, russian propaganda, dems being real bad at politics, media vibes, take your pick

It's still far out from the election and a lot of things will change/happen before then.

If this was 2 months out I'd be worried, right now it's people talking about how the sky is falling.

And yet since 2018 Dems have been outperforming in both standard and special elections that polling and news pundits kept crowing they were doomed to lose.

Especially since Dobbs the Dems who have incorporated bodily autonomy/loss of rights into their stances have largely done well and either had electoral victories or came far closer than most were giving them credit for.

Those are results I can actually rely on for predicting future elections as Trump & the GOP's extremism only intensifies, not diminish.

democrats have gained a MORE RELIABLE coalition, but not a LARGER coalition

because their coalition is MORE RELIABLE, they can clean up in low-turnout special elections

but there's reason to believe that advantage could vanish in a general election, because general elections are inherently high turnout, meaning the dems' superpower gets nerfed

Those special elections have also been higher turnout than usual and Biden literally got the most votes out of any POTUS in 2020.

In fact, higher voter turnout in general favors Dems, which is why Republicans fight so hard to suppress voting and have even openly acknowledged when more people vote they lose, so it seems like your logic is backwards here. Republicans have traditionally benefitted from low-turnout voting such as special elections, the country's overwhelming rejection of Trump and his extremism is what's turned that around, in addition to the recent loss of bodily autonomy rights and the acknowledgement that, yes, the USSC & GOP will take your rights away if given the chance and it's not just talk

Not surprising. Both major parties are trash and the people who support them have completely lost their marbles. I don't think their supporters realize their antics alienate more people than the opposing party's beliefs do.

Dems did this to themselves.

All biden had to do was let go of the reigns of power. A successor would easily beat trump.

But he couldn't. He just couldn't. He disguises it well but is just as power hungry as trump is.

And we all have to suffer for his greed

Firstly, that doesnt seem to logically follow? Supporting leaders the way Republicans do *is* the enthusiasm or lack thereof, not an influencer of it. Secondly, uh, I think its a really good thing we do not treat Democrat leaders the way Republicans treat theirs. The only thing Republicans are accountable to their constituents for are feeding their bigotry.

Centrists are closeted Republicans.

That's why there's only like 20% registered Republicans, yet they consistently get around 45-55% of the vote.

I'm sure this logic tracks in your mind but I do ask you at least consider perspective rather than cognitive dissonance to allow you to be just as hateful but from a different ideological standpoint.
