Why do you lot appear to think Trump has it in the bag? You seem so confident, I'd love to hear why, specifically.

People like @pretzelcoatl for example seem very confident in a Trump victory. Can you explain why? With the way some of you speak, it seems like people would be silly to expect otherwise, so I'd love to know the logic behind these claims. Tickle my knowledge bone please!

It's because he leads in some polls and they point to his handling of Palestine.

My company has a government affairs department which definitely leans on the side of impartial/dem. The VP mentioned that - if the election were held today - Trump would win. But also mentioned that theres just so much nonsense going on with him that you never know, and anything can change from now until the election.

Bottom line is they said not to discount or rule him out.

trump isn't getting any new voters after his redneck insurrection and multiple criminal indictments. it is possible that he could win, but he will need depressed turnout to have a chance and idk if we will see the same people who continue to repudiate trump and the far right republicans who gutted women's rights in every single election just decide to sit at home in this election.

with trump on the ballot i just can't see apathy winning the day. there is a world of difference in people being lukewarm on biden and those same people not caring enough to vote out the guy they have been setting midterm records to vote against

if gop nominated a semi normal person who isn't a dyed in the wool extremist i could see them winning, but americans hate trump and his ideology, and no one is forgetting how he destroyed abortion rights and was the most flagrant criminal potus of all time.

Biden has lost the entire Muslim vote here. 80% of all Muslims typically vote Democrat.
