Like which keys do you prefer and such?

I got a mechanical keyboard with red keys. Took me a while to get used to typing on it. Maybe I should have gotten blue keys instead, even though it will be so much noisier.

The one I have now has red switches, but I've also had brown in the past

I like long pole linear switches these days. I've been using boards with JWK Poseidons and Tecsee Zakus.

And not really a true mechanical, but I've been using a 45g Topre board at work. Basically it's an HHKB transplanted into a custom case.

Zealios V2 65g switches (I think Ill get 67g for my next one) double shot dyesub PBT keycaps in DSA profile, as those are the only ones I could find that were PBT in the HHKB layout.

I have a 80% keyboard with Boba U4 switches. I might get a smaller keyboard with red switches that I'll use only for games.

I managed to get some Zeal 67s, they're one of the best tactiles I've ever used

My current Logitech g915 has brown switches and I dont like them. I have a feeling that the browns in logitechs are different from browns in other keyboards. I believe browns are supposed to feel clicky and be quiet, but these ones feel mushy and have a small bump only when the key raises but you cant feel that bump in normal usage

ive used reds on a ducky shine in the past and liked it

i want to try blues since I want the clicky feel, but I dont know what brand/model is the best these days. I dont want a full blown custom keyboard, I just want something I can take out of the box and just use and feels premium. Maybe ducky is still the best? Or maybe I just get another Logitech g915 with blue switches this time

I'm using the official "Cherry MV 3.0 KB" w/ "Cherry Viola Switches"

It's pretty nice feeling having that interesting dual linear force curve.

80% layout. Linear or tactile.
No blue/green (too loud).
No silver (too sensitive, can't rest my fingers on the keyboard).
No low profile (less travel).

Currently using a Blackwidow V4 Pro. I think if the switches needed a tad more force then they'd be perfect for me.

I prefer browns. I don't find general typing on reds to be ideal.

I have a K65 Wireless TKL with Reds and it's fine for gaming but boy do I fucking HATE typing on it.

Glad it's just at my gaming PC and not where I typically do most of my typing.

This. I also put the O-rings around the keys so I get the nice click without the bottoming out clack sound.

Rubber dome keyboard? I guess you prefer tactile keys? Try mx greys, they provide the most feedback without going to blue/green loud click territory. cmiiw ce
