Oh right, I sent this to Sultan last night but

What is weird to me about Corrik is i really thought part of his "I'm ok with not getting a match d1" was coming from a place of not wanting there to be any claims or end of day shenanigans for scum to take advantage of.
And then he pushed Kirby to claim.

I've gone from not really thinking Corrik is scum to having slight suspicion there.

Kirby... i can see that progression of events coming from a town pov more than i can see coming from a scum pov. Ulti, you had a really strong scum read tlof Kirby but also didn't seem to follow the order of events that led to him and fd being broken up. What are your thoughts now?

Lea, you've given off a strong confidence that everything is going to go your way, and other than that I don't really remember much of anything notable about your posts. You could say it's a me problem and not you, but that's largely where my "ok with Lea dying today" comes from.

You're right though, my initial thoughts were based off the assumption that Peaf was town. I am therefore upgrading Kirby from "scum" to "loud and probably wrong" while remaining skeptical of the other unmentionables. If you had engaged AT ALL I would've pointed out my gutfeels with posts, but instead, you just made yourself look terrible to me. Hypocritical of me it might be to say it, I expect you to step it up.

"Loud and probably wrong" is pretty apt for my scumhunting game so far. Like FD said, Death was probably the highest on my scum list, and now I have egg on my face for being so, so wrong lol

I still champion that FD, Lea, and Lopen are all town here, though. Really, the biggest question mark for me is Dumey, though not through any fault of his own. The angle of Peaf agreeing to the breakup because he would look bad otherwise makes me feel better about Dumey. Plus, Dumey didn't make up with Peaf and leave JC to die, so unless all three of them were scum, Dumey is unlikely to be scum.

Not that it wasn't obvious, but I'd like to note that I 1000% called that when Kirby asked how I thought the other pairs were getting on and what we might hear from them.

Any pairs you're looking forward to hearing from come daybreak? I'm curious to see what MZero and Sultan have been discussing and what they think of each other. I'm also curious about Death and Chris and whether they even end up having much conversation

I expect a pair like isquen and Corrik will have barely said a word to each other.

I do have high hopes for a Death / Chris conversation, but likely they will be online at different times most of the day so it would be a lot of taking turns.

Maybe the most new perspective will come from red/Ulti. If he's town red should know he gets targeted sometimes and he should actually read the day rather than just light skimming or whatever it was he did day 1. That way even if he dies his roommate will still be alive to provide his perspective to others.

It's interesting to KNOW that only 1 person can die each night. I don't expect I'll be killed after all the sus I got from Lopen, but it's comforting to know that if I did you will be alive so my conclusions can still be shared.

Then again if red dies and Ulti is scum he could hit us with 'red was barely around and didn't say much'

I said at the very beginning of the game I wanted to date Isquen today. Not even as an in-game thing, its a larger meta play of just wanting the poor guy to live past day 2.

He could literally claim scum and I would still date him.

Ulti being nice and not caring about the game state is just showing how Wholesome Ulti is, talked to Ulti outside the games a bit and I mean this is actually Not alignment indicative.

If we're ruling out those of us who more or less directly got Peaf killed then POE dictates it's 2 of:
Mzero, Isquen, Ulti, Corrik, Red, Sultan, Sir Chris

4 of those are players who took the easy road yesterday and paired at the very beginning and never looked back, so it might just be 2 out of Mzero, Ulti, Red, Sultan.

But I'm not convinced Chris was the NK target and for that I'd keep him in consideration.

And Isquen, it's not as though he decided to be unpaired near the end of the day and took a risk to shake things up. That was a byproduct of a solo breakup that you initiated 5 minutes before dates locked.

And even though he didn't make an early pair, Corrik still more or less took the easy way out by only making 1 dating action all day and doing it near the end when there were multiple people looking for a life raft. But it was still a bold assumption to make that he wouldn't have just been locked out prior to the final 6 hours.

So I might even say corrik looks the most towny to me of those 7. Red looks a bit better after the logs ulti posted, but I'd still rather hear more from the man himself. He needs to step it up today if he doesn't want me to dump him :D

Actually I'll just ask Ulti what is this about?

I thought Ulti was town early
Then thought he was scum for his overly "if Peaf is town blah blah blah" and laziness and enabling red to lurk
Then I came around to thinking he was town who just didn't want to stress about defending himself and knew red would prioritize living

Start of day he's been super ass kissy of red and has an incoherent POE despite red being such a wealth of knowledge which has me suspecting scum again

Honestly this is the best point in favor of Ulti being town, not the reverse. It would be SUCH a weird move to do as scum if you knew a scum flip was incoming. Ulti would have looked a lot worse today if Peaf flipped town power.

Guys FF7 Rebirth is a blast. Also oops I have been prioritizing that over mafia.

I'm just going to copy paste the Last Will I left for JC in the event I got shot:

Giga Town List (Would not want lynched unless major info changes things): Kirby, Dumey, JC, Lopen, Lea.

One of these people should date MZero if we're not killing him. Town should decide who MZero dates so he can't "accidentally" shelter someone at end of day. Better if MZero initiates a breakup post 1-PM so we can ditch him if there's no better option.
Nobody should date Red or Corrik until they contribute some game analysis. If Red gives an early date all, one of us should take his date, and dump him shortly before the 6-hour consent rule.

Suspect List (in order of would want to be lynched first to last): Sultan > Chris >>> FD > Red = Isquen = Corrik > Ulti = Death = MZero

Feel better about Red with the info that Ulti has been giving. But I also approve of FD announcing his intention to basically hold Red's date hostage so no one else grabs it and sits on it. Kind of with it was one of my more trusted people, but I agree with it in theory.

MZero, I think if you're town, you shouldn't be willing to shelter someone to deadline, and I wonder if you would accept allowing us to assign your date by committee.

You didn't even clarify who was in the town core, just that you had one. Is it the same people lopen said? In one of your first posts you said you think MZero is town, but not why you think MZero is town. Was it something he said during your date? Can you post receipts?
